[Isaac is broadcasting from inside of a pretty wrecked looking place. The shelves around him are still in some form of disarray, water damage is soaked into the walls, and there are various animal cages laying on the ground with different sorts of pets in them- sluggish lizards in one, sneezy rats in another... all in all, the sight is kind of depressing, even if there are obvious attempts to clean it up.

He sighs.]

Right. I was hoping to not have to do this, but I think that the animals will get sick if we keep them here for much longer. Can you guys foster some of these while we're getting the store rebuilt? We can give you all the stuff you need to take care of 'em.

Oh. And- we're broke. Like, really broke. [Having over a week of no income, plus repairs, plus having to use product to keep the animals alive will do that to you.]

So... [Isaac sighs.] There are those apple things that give you money, right? Would anyone be willing to share some?

[He tilts his head backward, gesturing toward the glass-paneled back room where most pet stores keep their larger, furry friends.]

How many can you take? Just for a few weeks or so, until we can get the store up and running again.

[ Scott's been pretty preoccupied since he... well, died. There was his and Stiles' wake party, then he got drunkenly married, then Stiles went missing... Scott really hasn't had time to think about his store at all after the ice damaged it...

But since Scott lost his favorite employee Asahi, Isaac has really stepped up to the plate.

Which is why - after witnessing Isaac address the network - Scott makes a decision. ]

I've sort of got a cat here already, but if you've got any that you know can get on well with strange fuzzballs I could give it a shot. Aside from that? Ping me if you need extra help getting the place back in condition, I can definitely do that much when I'm not at work.

What about sealed tanks and stuff? Most of the cats and dogs here are spoken for, but we have a lot of rodents and reptiles that need a bit more help.

There was an attack on the city a little over a week ago. Our pet store was one of the places hit.

Yeah. We used to carry books and pamphlets and stuff.

[He'd read them when stuff got slow. Learned a lot about taking care of animals that he'd never want to have.]

A lot of the small animals get respiratory infections pretty easy, 'cause their lungs are small.

I think we just need to move. Too much water damage.

Also, we really need someone to take the rest of the rats for awhile before they get sick. There's just a couple of them and they all get along.

What sorts of animals still need homes? My roommate at school had a pet toad I was looking after often enough, so I do have some experience there. Dogs as well!

There's still a bunch. Some puppies and lizards, but mostly small rodent stuff, like rabbits and guinea pigs.

Reasons why running a pet store is a very bad idea.

Have you ever given any thought to what happens to these poor, defenseless animals when their owners go missing? People come and go and all that. [ Now before you think he's going to go on being all unhelpful: ]

Are itty bitty wolf hybrid puppies available for adoption?

[He arches an eyebrow, already a little defensive. Good job. If Damon is slightly familiar, Isaac doesn't really show it- they only spoke once or twice, and he's been here for months anyway.]

If a non-native buys one, we keep tabs on them and reclaim the pets if they leave. [Still, the question makes him bristle a little.] Why would we sell wolves?
