[Isaac is broadcasting from inside of a pretty wrecked looking place. The shelves around him are still in some form of disarray, water damage is soaked into the walls, and there are various animal cages laying on the ground with different sorts of pets in them- sluggish lizards in one, sneezy rats in another... all in all, the sight is kind of depressing, even if there are obvious attempts to clean it up.

He sighs.]

Right. I was hoping to not have to do this, but I think that the animals will get sick if we keep them here for much longer. Can you guys foster some of these while we're getting the store rebuilt? We can give you all the stuff you need to take care of 'em.

Oh. And- we're broke. Like, really broke. [Having over a week of no income, plus repairs, plus having to use product to keep the animals alive will do that to you.]

So... [Isaac sighs.] There are those apple things that give you money, right? Would anyone be willing to share some?

Yeah. I was going to get something cool with it, but you know, whatever. When my snuggle bear needs something, my snuggle bear gets it.

[There wasn't as much of a joke behind that, but he flashed Isaac a quick grin after anyway, then nodded.]

Yeah, sure. Does the store have a bank account or something here?

You're about five foot six and you've still got a babyface.

[That totally is what's required.]

Not the store, but if you just get a transfer into Scott or my account, then we'll deal with it.

[Just because he didn't think Isaac would actually expect him to do it, he was going to transfer the money into his account. He'd explain it to Scott later, but it was because he was trying to beat it into that thick skull that things had changed. Teasing aside...]

I'll do that in a little bit. Everything else okay?

[Aw, Stiles, you do like him.]

[Isaac stares at him, an eyebrow quirked. Go ahead, Stiles, bring it up. He dares you.]

And he's not going to say it. He's just going to give Isaac a look.]

Yeah. Everything else. You need anything?

You're really determined, aren't you.

[It's said dryly, with a little sigh. He's never really had someone aggressively try to befriend him before. This is a little uncomfortable.]

...maybe we can grab a bite to eat or something after I wrap up for the day. [Beat.] If you promise not to come onto me.

[teenyoda]

I think I can keep it in my pants. Even if it makes a mess.

[He had to, Isaac. You pretty much walked into that one. Riiiiight into it.]

Yeah, that sounds cool, though. I think Scott's doing something with Allison and, I don't know, it'd be nice to have someone to hang with.

[He is definitely giving you a big ol' stinkeye, bro.]

...fine. But I don't want you to mention anything from back home. Just- none of it.

[Isaac has the best way of dealing with things: never talk about them and never react to them and just sort of keep going. Woo.]
