[freezerburned]

[Isaac is broadcasting from inside of a pretty wrecked looking place. The shelves around him are still in some form of disarray, water damage is soaked into the walls, and there are various animal cages laying on the ground with different sorts of pets in them- sluggish lizards in one, sneezy rats in another... all in all, the sight is kind of depressing, even if there are obvious attempts to clean it up.

He sighs.]

Right. I was hoping to not have to do this, but I think that the animals will get sick if we keep them here for much longer. Can you guys foster some of these while we're getting the store rebuilt? We can give you all the stuff you need to take care of 'em.

Oh. And- we're broke. Like, really broke. [Having over a week of no income, plus repairs, plus having to use product to keep the animals alive will do that to you.]

So... [Isaac sighs.] There are those apple things that give you money, right? Would anyone be willing to share some?

[ She smiles in return. ]

Have you suggested moving the shop to Scott yet?

He's on his way over, actually. I'll probably ask him about it then.

Hey- just curious. How come you don't work here? It's named after you and all.

[gymnast]

[ Allison shrugs a little. ] He opened it when I went lost my bracelet and went grey for a while. When I got back or... whatever the term is, I already had my job at the Citadel. I didn't really want a second one. I only help out at the Roadhouse because Jo was really short handed. [ And now she likes working with Jo too much to quit. ]

[freezerburned]

Huh.

[Isaac shrugs. He really was just curious.]

I guess it would get confusing, if Allison worked at Allison's. Everyone would think you're the owner.

[gymnast]

[ She laughs a little and nods. ] I'm kinda surprised more people don't think that anyway. But I guess if they've met Scott and then meet me, they get it. [ Scott's not exactly good at hiding how much he loves her, which is actually something Allison loves about him. Especially since they don't have to hide here. ]

[freezerburned]

Yeah, he's...

[Isaac just sort of nods, smiling a little wryly. This isn't awkward or anything.]

-he's crazy about you.

[gymnast]

[ It is a little weird to be talking about this with Isaac, but that doesn't stop the smile on Allison's face from stretching wider, an almost bashful air to it. ]

Yeah, I know. [ And the feeling, of course, is mutual. ] If he ever annoys you by talking about me, just tell him I told him to knock it off.

[freezerburned]

I'll keep that in mind.

[And the conversation sort of peters off a little awkwardly, because Isaac really doesn't want to comment on their relationship, and there's no way to smoothly change the topic.]

...so, uh. I'll see you around?

[gymnast]

[ She nods. ] Yeah. Take care of yourself. [ After all, some of the apples aren't as helpful as the ones he's looking for.

She gives a slight wave and then ends the feed. ]
