[ the bracelet hadn't been that hard for him to figure out - in fact it was a nifty little piece of technology, though there wasn't something quite like it where he came from. Of the options he figures voice is the best way to go for the very first one, if he's going to be broadcasting it, after all. No reason to show everyone his face right away.

He's leaning up against the side of Freya's welcome hall, arms somewhat crossed as he records the message. ]

So I see we have ourselves a little war going on. You know, this place isn't the only world with problems. Some of us were in the middle of doing something important. Enemies to vanquish, friends to rescue, stuff like that. But I guess that doesn't matter to certain parties.

Anyway, since we're stuck here, I guess I do have one question: where's the best ice cream in this dull place? I told a friend I owe him some.

...Alright. [ Man this is the reason you are hands-down his best friend gd. Roxas doesn't necessarily lean into the slung arm, but he takes obvious comfort in it and nods, grateful. ]

It's just up around the corner. Sea salt...right?

It's....sort of on the roof. Not really the Station Tower, but it's close--there's a ladder we used to use about a block over.

Follows up almost as quickly - he's got longer legs, after all.

He settles down on the roof next to Roxas, ice cream mostly intact. It's- incredible. He never thought this would happen again. It's not the station tower, but Roxas is there and that's pretty much all that matters.]

[ugh Roxas, right where it hurts. Takes a bite of ice cream so he doesn't have to answer right away, because that twists something in him a little painfully.]

[glances at Roxas with a look that's fond but also pained]

.... [ It's definitely a reminder of what Sora told him--he was his own person, separate from him. And it's enough to make his insecurity a little more obvious--but also more hopeful. he knew he went back to Sora. he just...didn't know what had happened to Axel. Or hwo he'd felt about it--Lea became his Somebody again. So wouldn't he want...Roxas' Somebody too? ]

[He's whole again, but his memories are of Roxas, not Sora. He'd spent time with both of them, and perhaps more than anyone else he knows the differences between them. Sora couldn't possibly take Roxas' place for him - not as Axel OR Lea, and he doubts that to some others, Roxas couldn't replace Sora.]

....I'm sorry. [ "For going back" doesn't feel quite right. But maybe...not being there for him? That seems a little more appropriate given the circumstances ]

[shakes his head. It's not like it was Roxas' fault. None of that was Roxas' fault. There isn't anything he could blame Roxas for - most of the blame laid with him.]
