[...You know, Senji usually isn't one to read much. Today he was set on reading this magazine of his, it was all about training and working out and little tips here and there. Even though he had been fighting for years, he still loved reading about this macho bullshit. He shifted in his seat and must have bumped his bracelet, because suddenly it's recording.

Seeing Senji read said magazine catches Battler's attention. Although this curious expression can't be seen. His voice can be suddenly heard over the audio feed. ]
--Ahh? You know, I didn't know that they had magazines here, and in that case-- they have all sorts of other stuff to read too, I bet!

....Hah? [who dis bitch-.... oh it's Ange's brother, that idiotic pervert.] What're you talkin' about?

Come on, you know! Those kinds of magazines! The kind that a true man can appreciate!

Can't a guy appreciate some training.....?

Training and stuff like that can be pretty fun, sure... But, there's a lot more to life then that to begin with, isn't there?

Cheh... oh yeah, like what? [obviously he doesn't agree with that statement one bit.]

Hm? Like what? You know...! Being surrounded by woman-- but if you ask me, it's being surrounded by their breasts specifically that makes life worth living, ihihihihihi!

[Well then! Guess who is turning bright red and is suddenly fumbling on his words.] W...wh...wha?! How the shit can you even say that?! That ain't.... that just....! [and of course saying there's more to women than just that would be such a pussy move on his part, so he refrains from that. Instead he's just moving to stand up, time to walk away from him!!] You're fuckin' weird!

[And cue Battler following him] C, C'mon, it's not weird, is it? As a man, there's nothing wrong with appreciating the female body! And as a shameless breast sommelier, it just so happens that that's the very first thing I notice when it comes to a girl...! You're also at that age where you can agree a little!

[NOOOO DON'T FOLLOW HIM! People will get the wrong idea!!] S-seriously! What is it with everyone around here-?! How is that all anyone thinks about?!

Once, you get a handful of perfectly soft, plump, round breasts yourself, you'll understand perfectly yourself, I can guarentee it! We just need to find the right woman, and you'll know exactly what it means to be a man.

[And here's the sound of Senji's footsteps walking faster, maybe even jogging?!] Whoa what-?! Stop that! Stop it right now! Keep following me and you're dead...!

[By the sounds of it, Battler still doesn't stop talking about such a thing.]

(ooc: Battler is blue and Senji is bold. Replies will come from both of them.)

Do you actually think that I’ll blindly believe something like that? If by some miracle there is a guy out there who isn’t like that then, by all means, feel free to rub it in my face about how you were right and I was wrong. Until then, I haven’t seen any decent guys around who don’t appreciate things like the meat on a girls chest or something else just as perverse. [ But, when she thinks about it, Miketsukami was different which was probably one of the many reasons she started dating him. ]

That topic aside, what did you do to be cursed with the presence of that guy “Ihihihi”ing in your ear. [ Yes, she said the ‘ihihihi’ so... deadpanly. ]

If I was easily swayed, that would defeat the purpose of being stubborn. I’m more than capable of using my own brain and I’m not one to be brainwashed by what other people say. However, I will admit that you don’t look the part of a pervert, but it doesn’t nessecarily mean that you can’t play the part. Hence why I said you are a closet pervert who shrouds themselves in other hobbies to make up for the fact that when you’re alone you indulge in more mature themes.

[ Wow, she kind of feels bad for the guy. ] How exceedingly inconvenient for you. To think that you were one of the unfortunate ones who had to put up with that... the world must really have it in for you if this is what it’s thrown at you.

[ Of course, those words were enough to hit her where it hurt the most. True that she wasn’t exactly swayed easily, but it didn’t mean that she was a lost cause when it came to trying to reason something out. Deciding not to let it show that it visibly bugged her, she shrugs her shoulders while craning her neck around as if to say that his words didn’t bother her. All an act, of course, but what he didn’t know didn’t hurt him. Or her, in this case. ]

All things considered, that being an escapee convict, or ex-convict, it does seem that the world has had it in for you since early days. I would say something like ‘it must be tough’ but that would be forced pity on my part and I prefer not to give out insincere empathy. I’m not that cold-blooded.

Huh... Harbouring a grudge for seven years sounds tiring.

And how tiring do you think I think it is? If you’re confident enough to make an assumption like that, at least know how to back it up.

Thirst for blood... huh. Humans really can be terrifying sometimes with thoughts like that. [ Even if she was talking to herself, she couldn’t help but let the word ‘humans’ slip as opposed to ‘people.’ Really though, she was just thinking about things. ]

It’s only natural that they’re something to be feared. If I recall correctly, humans bestow war upon themselves over selfish things rather than talking it out with the rest of humanity. Dare I add that some do questionable acts to animals or other humans. [ Like murder, for example. ]

[ The urge to hurt and deceive were programmed into them? Hearing that was enough tp spark the memory of what Natsume had told her before which seemed to silence her for a while. She was still no good at socializing with others, at least, not in person. When she was on audio it meant she could speak somewhat normally, but not fully so. No matter what, this was going to be a long path for her and even if she made some friends, it meant she had to try that much harder. Otherwise, what the point? ]

... ... ... Someone else told me something like that before. Hmph. So that’s what he meant? I see.

Not everyone was given such a luxury life, you know. [ In fact, she was a prime example of such a thing. Her parents were nothing more than a couple who gave birth to her; any further than that they weren’t included in. Raising her, taking her to school... none of that existed for her. In fact, the concept of ‘family’ was one she had no knowledge of so it was only natural that she knew of loneliness. ]

... There are people out there who lack that, but does that mean that they don’t have the same urge to hurt and deceive others like everyone else? They weren’t raised by their parents. In fact, it would be accurate to describe them as nothing more than a lucky charm and so they were raised like one. Whenever they look to someone, all they received was fake smiles. It was insincerity. They held no real emotions toward that person. Nothing was sincere.

It doesn’t hold any connection to me so spare me your false pity. [ The last thing she wanted was to venture into such a topic when she only used it as an example. It was somewhat clear that her mood had dampened from before after having talked about such a topic. ] Whether I have or haven’t had experience in that field, it is something that is of none of your concern.

[ Those words alone stung and made her remember a memory she thought she locked away years ago. It felt almost like Senji was trying to teach her the same lesson her own father had in the past when she told him how she was jealous of her younger sister and felt like she was always being compared to her. Since then, she didn’t view herself as anything particularly special. Why should she? ]

Well, isn’t that good. [ It wasn’t a question, but more of a statement. Luckily she was keeping her bracelet on audio or otherwise Senji would be seeing her face contort into an expression that shouldn’t really be on a young woman. It was a mix between hurt and anger. ] If that’s all you have to say, then why don’t we end this conversation here? You’ve already established how you aren’t a pervert so I would rather refrain from heading into deeper topics that make it look like we’re close friends sharing childhood stories.

Much obliged, Senji. [ Probably the first time ever she's called him by name, but things change and all. If he were closer to her own age, she probably would've added -san or, if he was like Miketsukami, she would've put on -kun. But this is Senji, so. ] ... ... ... I appreciate it.
