So as I understand it, and pardon the questions since I'm sure you all go through this periodically it seems, but this city and its gods are under attack, and they've called upon us to save it and their people and our own worlds from becoming colorless drabs.

Now that's all fine and well, who doesn't love a good epic, but my only question is why do they remove our own abilities? I know for a fact with the lot that have been taken from my own, plus toss in a few good witches, and this whole affair would be over by Christmas, back to our own worlds where we have pressing matters. [Like taking over New Orleans.]

I'm not saying I'm any type of hero. In fact I'm finding myself at a loss of what to do here. So aside from the gripes about losing my power as an Original vampire and all it took to gain becoming a hybrid again, [You know, poor Aunt Jenna] I have little knowledge on what to do here.

So I ask both about the purpose of these powers these gods have bestowed as well as the power structure of this place. I'm sure there must be someone monopolizing on the power or rather powerless here.

[It's a little strange how people to not know these terms, and it's leaving him second guessing announcing himself. However it also has allowed him to peacock, and Klaus loves to peacock. Besides his once weaknesses back home are moot here.]

A hybrid is a vampire who happens to also be a werewolf. Only the circumstances of creating both are a little difficult to create. I seem to be the only one, for now anyway. [Because Tyler doesn't count, but hey, he's got a kid on the way.]
