[ over the course of days 418-420, the above business card has been making its way under the doors of travellers in welcome halls, businesses, into the mailboxes of private residences. anywhere a business card can slip a business card has. most of the time, it's also accompanied by a small note: ]

That's alright. I often find people are quick to ignore instructions regardless. So instead they can come to me with something stupid, I'll introduce a door to their face, they'll know better in the future. Tough love, quick results.

[ she makes herself known to him in freya. an odd choice since jamie's house is loki and what business draws her to freya, nobody even knows. perhaps she followed him, perhaps she followed someone else, perhaps she just likes the view. either way, she makes herself known there, joins his side as naturally and quickly as if this was a shared stroll all along. ]

[ and just as she falls seamlessly into step, Jim seamlessly does not fall out of it. he glances aside at her, offers a glad smile (always lovely to see you, dear), then turns his attention to the skies and their surroundings, head bobbing out a nod. ]

Oh yes, the gods made me fifteen years older and gave me memories, I believed I had been sent home back to Oxford and experienced fifteen years but then was brought back to Asgard. As far as I and everyone else was concerned, I was 22 years old in mind and body.

I've only really had transformation curses used on me. If you don't count the times, the gods use city wide curses.

I was turned in to a Naga, that's a human snake hybrid and another time I was turned into a djinn.

Let's see, they made everyone sing, switched people's bodies, swapped people's ages, and made people stick together like glue to name a few of them.

There are. The gods see fit to play games, seems like.

I specialise in helping you fix things you can't fix for yourself. I can offer means to quiet little birds who sing songs you'd rather they didn't, I can pluck needles from haystacks. It really depends on the person and the problem. I tend to decide on a case by case basis.

[ irene flips the business card between her fingers. she won't be getting in touch until she's her usual self (read: not seven years-old), for good reason. bad enough to be taken in by the joint holmes-watson family, but it'd revealed some vulnerabilities she'd rather not have put on the table when dealing with jim moriarty.

[ Jim being naughty is a life choice and a constant. Irene being seven is something altogether different and it's certainly not something he missed - but it is a party he decided, through a combination of choice and circumstance, to wallflower for, so. ]

[ The business card receives cursory scan, the note a bit more interest. Idly, Albus scrawls out his own on the back, in quick spidery hand:

He waits to hear the footsteps round, then flicks it out beneath that same crack of door. ]

[ the shift of fabric as Jim ducks to collect the note, reads it once over— oh. ahahaha. quickly he's plucking a spare copy of the original note out of his suit jacket, a pen out of his inside pocket, and before long this fresh copy has a "please" tacked onto the front.

underneath, he adds:

This is cute. I feel like I'm ten again. Please write back. xoxo

and promptly drops it to the floor, nudges it under the crack with his foot and turns to rest against the wall in waiting, smiling away to himself. what fun. ]
