[ over the course of days 418-420, the above business card has been making its way under the doors of travellers in welcome halls, businesses, into the mailboxes of private residences. anywhere a business card can slip a business card has. most of the time, it's also accompanied by a small note: ]

No... the more time passes here, the more the memories they gave me fade. What I did as an adult here is very much in my mind though. I don't think it's too strange. I've been all sorts of things long before coming here.

You're welcome, Mr. Jim! I've seen all sorts of curses on people.

Before coming here? You do say some interesting things. What a life you must've led, even without Asgard. What was home like?

Well, home was quite ordinary, it's where I went that wasn't.

Do you know the talking flowers we had only a few days ago? Those are from a place I visited... [Technically created and ruled.] They're from... well I suppose you could call it home. But Oxford university is not where exciting things happen.

[grimmig]

A place with talking flowers and you get to go back dreary old England. It's a wonder you ever did. No, I can't imagine Oxford being a source of great fascination for anyone with imagination.

it rather begs a question though: ]

What year was it, last you remember? From being seven.

1865, Mr. Jim! My father is the dean and a professor of Oxford University right now! That's why I live there.

Ah, I see! And a good century and a half before my time. If we're ever sent back I'll pay Oxford a visit and think of you. [ or i would if i wasn't d e a d but you know thought that counts ]

Oh that's very sweet. If you look for the list of dean's past, I imagine you'd see my father's name, Mr. Henry Liddell!

I'll keep an eye out! That's if we remember, when we go back... I hope so. I'd like to find him.

No one does, from what I've heard. But some remember being here instantly, if they come back. Perhaps you will just get inspired when you go back!

That's too bad. Here's hoping for that inspiration though, even if I don't know what's triggered it. Funny old place, Asgard. Different worlds and pasts and presents, it's a marvel for bringing people together!

Yes, even yourself just from different places and different times. Like myself! There's another Alice here, in fact. She's older than me. We have the same parents, same sister, same adventures, but she's just older and looks different than I do! Oh, and then there's the Doctor, of course.

[grimmig]

Ah, that's incredible! Had she experienced the adventures that you gained during the curse too?

Oh yes, the Doctor. The man of many lives and many faces. Must be odd to have so many of himself together in one place.

[madcuriosity]

I don't think so. Since time is so wishy-washy here and no one seems to remember being here once they leave, I think that she couldn't remember it, since it doesn't really happen in our time line but only in Asgard. That's why she has no recollection of the Doctor or anyone I knew here before she first arrived.

Or of me, honestly. She still doesn't know what to make of that.

He handles it well enough.
