[ over the course of days 418-420, the above business card has been making its way under the doors of travellers in welcome halls, businesses, into the mailboxes of private residences. anywhere a business card can slip a business card has. most of the time, it's also accompanied by a small note: ]

I was still trying to come up with good ones when they disappeared! But left-chicken was Henrietta.

Maybe she'll come back someday. Then I'll feed her more corn and keep her from pecking the cats.

Oh- and Thor promised me horse ears, but I guess with all the succession stuff he hasn't had time to pony them up for me.

I guess so! I was raised by wolves, so humans are still kinda mysterious sometimes.

What about you, though, any cool curses to share?

By wolves? Well! That must've been an experience. Right up until you were snatched away here?

Not yet. I'm starting to feel sort of left out.

Nah, it was a while ago by now.

And that's too bad! If I had my old powers I could hex you right up. Have you ever seen someone's skin turn inside-out?

Still, maybe you could ask one of the gods here for help? Hel was really nice and smote my arm when I asked!

Curses on request? I'm fairly sure my patron god would play coy, and I haven't done much chatting with any of the others. Maybe I'll just annoy him as much as I can, try it out that way.

All by itself! [Definitely not a rhetorical question.] --Well, you need to know the right words, maybe a bit of goat's blood, but once you've got the tricks down, it's easy. You can sit back and relax while you flay your enemies alive!

[And he's laughing and it's still friendly and right the other question.]

Good luck with annoying the powers that be. Apparently Freyr doesn't like it when you ask about the time he blew up, maybe you can start there!

Lovely. Thanks for the tip, I'll get right on it as soon as I've got a clear schedule. Wouldn't want a curse to get in the way of hair-washing night and other important activities.
