[The video opens to a tired, very surly looking Professor Snape. He's lost weight since the last time he appeared on the network with an announcement addressed to the Travellers; his sallow face is thinner, the bags under his eyes are more pronounced, and he looks like he's aged a good few years. This city is truly starting to take a toll on him.

He's in his school office, at his desk. When he speaks, he's curt, churlish and absolutely no-nonsense.]

For those of you who are new to Asgard, or for those of you who failed to pay a modicum of attention to the previous announcements I made concerning the matter in which I'm about to address, my name is Professor Snape and I am the Headmaster of the Albus Dumbledore Academy, a school of education and tutelage, which I have established in Odin district.

The school is open for anyone eighteen years and under who wishes to pursue an education, be that in mathematics, literature, science, or any other number of subjects on offer.

Enrollment and attendance to my school is voluntary; however, should you so choose to undertake an education, allow me to make it very clear that I do not tolerate tardiness, disrespect, insolent behaviour or acts of misdemeanour. Any student who chooses to commit any such offences will be reprimanded severely. [Severus is looking straight at you, Mr. Stilinski.]

Of course, I am always in need of assistance with regards to the running and upkeep of the school, be that teachers, tutors or those who may be able to offer assistance in other ways. If you possess any useful skills that you feel would benefit the Albus Dumbledore Academy, I invite you to step forward and make yourself known.

Direct any queries or concerns to either myself or to my secretary, Miss Gallagher.

Anyway, the smile is just one of disbelief. Because a school. Holy crap, this place has everything.]

[When he sees the name show up on his bracelet, Severus frowns curiously. And when he opens the video, he finds himself looking at the girl he saw in that photograph on Ellie's wall.

Well, this is... unexpected. After what he's learned about who this girl is and what she means to Ellie... this is extremely unexpected.

The expression on his face is stony and unreadable. Stay neutral, he tells himself. Stay completely neutral.]

[He's only a little condescending there. Or maybe more than a little.]

[ Now Morgiana had never ever been to a school. At all ever. However, she was definitely curious about some of the classes that were listed, especially the ones for hand-to-hand combat and martial arts.

After giving it a few minutes to think over she turns on the video function of her bracelet to respond. ]

Professor Snape. [Roland taps his collarbone a few times. There's no chance the man will recognize it as the respectful gesture that it is, but it feels right, so he does it.]

The person whom I'd put in charge of school maintenance is no longer in Asgard.

That face, that very, very distinct voice coming out of the strange light that emanates from Neville's new bracelet is straight out of some of his nightmares. It makes him jump nearly out of his skin like he's back in his third year. Embarrassing.

It just gets worse when he actually stills long enough to listen to what Snape has to say. He runs the Albus Dumbledore Academy. Albus Dumbledore Academy.

Neville fumbles for what seems like half a minute to him, just trying to hit the button to reply with his shaking fingers. When he finds his (unfortunately, at the moment, very shrill) voice, he looks a little bit manic, color high in his cheeks:] Reprimanded severely? Is that what you're calling it now, Headmaster?

[Well. As if Severus' time in Asgard couldn't get any worse.

At first, he's admittedly rather shocked to not only see Longbottom's name show up on his bracelet, but also his ridiculous, dopey, buck-toothed face showing up on the video.

But then, momentary lapse of shock passing, Severus' expression drops into a look of cold distaste.]

Longbottom. [He says the name as though he's just tasted something foul.]

What are you supposed t'do with a school? [She thinks of the way the Night's Watch trained their Crows.]

Their letters? How t'fight and the like? [Part of her wants to snub it. It's something they'd do in the South, she bets, but even with her hatred that has been inbred for throusands of years, there's not only a curiosity of what lies South (or in this case anything that is different from the way she has lived in a very 'us vs them' world.]

[Have a very charming-looking man on your screen, Snape. Beneath the charm, Castle is actually a bit wary. This guy seems kind of nasty and Castle's not entirely sure if working for him is a good idea.

But Castle needs money, or at least something to do if this isn't a paying job. He needs to get out of the god house one way or another. Hopefully this will make him enough to be able to shack up with his fiancee.]

[It's a far different picture than she presented yesterday, for those who managed to find her; Narcissa is no longer disheveled and dirt-smudged, but as close an approximation to her usual self that not having magic will allow.

She's also surprised by the violent pang of relief she feels at hearing his voice, despite knowing the acerbic man she'd asked so much of was here.]

I would have thought you'd seek a break from the education system, Severus.

[The name attached to the incoming video causes Severus to do a double-take. Most certainly a name and a face he never thought he'd actually ever come across in Asgard. The first thing that crosses his mind is Draco: does the boy know his mother is apparently here? The next thought is: from what time has Narcissa arrived from? Does she... know about the Vow? Or is she from before that time?

He supposes he'll find out soon enough.

He has to take a few moments to compose himself to an air of neutrality before he connects the feed.]

Yes. [Said in Divinian because the mun's internet connection is too crappy to let mun load any Divinian translators, waah.

And in the interest of practicing the language, he continues speaking in Divinian, albeit somewhat broken and slower than Leeloo can fluently speak it. ]

My apologies for not being in more... [He struggles to find the correct word - 'frequent' is the word he wants. After a moment's deliberation, he settles on a synonym instead.] Regular, uh... contact with you, Miss Leeloo. I have been very busy.

['Busy' is putting it lightly. More like 'traumatised' and 'dying' and 'fighting very hard not to come unglued'.]

My name's Kate Beckett. I'm working with a group here in Asgard called the Forensics Unit, and while we work primarily with solving crimes, I wanted to introduce myself to you specifically.

[ okay, she's going to take a breath and relax a little. ]

I was a cop back home- or was for a while. Since you're going to be having a lot of kids all under one roof, I was wondering if you had though about security. And whether or not you have, I wanted to let you know that you can contact me directly if you have any issues. I don't have the manpower to assign you a security guard for all of your schooling hours, but I can let you know that if something does happen, you can at least have someone to contact, and I'll get there as quickly as I can.

[ and whether or not snape knows, when she says 'I' she does mean the whole forensics unit. however many staff people that may be. ]
