While there are many myths throughout my life I have found to have a root in truth, I had not expected Asgard to be a place I would ever visit. Being fresh from my home world, I long to return. From what I've been lead to understand, frequent and consistent social interaction is the most basic of ways to ensure that happens. And so I reach out to you, fellow victims.

I have read some of what's available to view on this network. It seems as though possessions occurred recently, and a grave tragedy was involved. I would like to offer my condolences to the respective parties. And while I understand the need to focus on lighter things in the wake of such tragedy, it disturbs me greatly to know that this Thiazi is capable of such things while all of our native powers have been replaced. How are we to defend ourselves against an assault on the mind stripped of the very capabilities needed to do so? 

I understand this is not a choice for Asgard's gods, but I challenge them: you are the ones who brought us in; you are the reason we are here. How do you plan to defend us against further assault? We are a precious resource to you. Surely, we are worth defending. Surely, we are worth taking action for instead of simply waiting for reaction to be necessary, and then stepping in. Surely, you have a plan.

You are right, of course. A private conversation would perhaps be better in which to discuss this matter in detail. However, I have gained the answers I've thus far asked for, and so such measures are no longer required.

I was one of the many not present as well. I was in Vanaheim so I'm doing what I can for those here.

Oh? I am very glad for you then that you were able to find the answers you needed. Was it one of the gods who provided you the answer or one of the many travelers?

Freyr has been so kind to indulge me my queries. My fellow travelers have also helped, but in different ways.

It is actually Lord Freyr's house I reside in, but I am not surprised. Lord Freyr is extremely kind and gentle. He is often the sort to respond to those in need.

I am not surprised a gentle heart such as yourself was chosen by him. He seems to have only the purest of intentions.

[What he thinks of that, well, he'll keep his figurative mouth shut.]

I'm afraid I've not heard of it, though I do know what a wizard is thanks to my aunts.

Oh yes, they are faeries and growing up they would tell all sorts of stories of mythical creatures and magical beings.

You have faerie aunts, you say? I'm curious: are you part faerie or is "aunt" merely something you call them?

No, I am not magical in any way. And I call them that because they raised me.

What of your parents?

It's just that I, too, was raised by those outside of my own magical ability due to my parents' absence. My curiosity was peaked, but I will not press if you would rather not speak of it.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that you were not able to know your parents either. And you know magic?

I do. I know it like I know myself. Considering those who raised me didn't... It was a bit difficult.

[But he doesn't wish to dwell on such things. In fact, the only reason he brought it up was to bring up a feeling of kinship for her to feel towards him.]

Were your aunts kind? From what I understand faeries have a reputation of being tricksters.

Oh yes. My aunts were wonderfully kind and I never struggle. They... hmm, well I don't know about tricksters, but they liked the occasional trick on one another. Especially Aunt Merryweather and Aunt Flora towards one another.

They seem pleasant, for which I am glad to hear. Admittedly I have not had much interaction with the faerie kind of my world... only a scarce amount of knowledge on the mythology regarding such creatures.

If you'd like I could do my best to answer some questions about them, but they would really be the best to speak with, if ever brought here.

Thank you, but that will not be necessary. I will keep my curiosity to myself until that day arrives, should it ever.
