[There's a face that might be familiar to some people appearing onscreen. It looks a little less perky than it usually does and seems to be needing a moment before actually speaking.]

Hey. I don't know what happened, but I could swear I'd gone home for a while. But I'm back here again and... yeah.

I guess a few people missed me, judging by the messages waiting for me. I'll get to those in a bit, but I thought I'd let everyone know I'm back. Scott... I guess I'll see you when you've got some time. I hope things have been quiet and I have no idea how long I've been gone, so any heads up on that would be appreciated.

This is probably why people keep going the gay route with me. No girl back home. No guy either, for the record.

But still, you should drop by the Highwind sometime. For pie. Because I get it free.

She's given it to me free before.

She gives everyone free pie. I have no idea how she actually makes money.

... That's actually a very good question. Maybe it doesn't cost much to make pie.

That is also very, very possible.

Pretty sure that's the more likely one. I think she'd give everyone free food if she could.

Does she run it alone?

No. There's another girl, Orihime, that she's co-owners with. I think that's the only reason she doesn't just give all the food away.

I can't complain because hey, I get free pie.

I think most places where you work would give you free pie because you work there.

Maybe. But would they give you free pie if you decided to quit? Because Jade's said I can have pie even if I don't work there anymore.

Maybe if they really liked you, but understood that you needed different pastures.

But that kinda defeats the whole purpose of employee discounts.
