[There's a face that might be familiar to some people appearing onscreen. It looks a little less perky than it usually does and seems to be needing a moment before actually speaking.]

Hey. I don't know what happened, but I could swear I'd gone home for a while. But I'm back here again and... yeah.

I guess a few people missed me, judging by the messages waiting for me. I'll get to those in a bit, but I thought I'd let everyone know I'm back. Scott... I guess I'll see you when you've got some time. I hope things have been quiet and I have no idea how long I've been gone, so any heads up on that would be appreciated.

Yeah, she kind of is. I don't know about the not-deserving bit since I'm not exactly in the know of all the people she does things for, but she's pretty heavy with the freebies.

Er, not quite. Some people can become animals, and he's one of them. He spent more time as a ferret than a human.

So, he's had an adjustment period here.

[Because that was more interesting than Jade's ferrety boyfriend.]

Unfortunately, no, but I've known a number of much better people who can.

Really? And that's a thing back where you come from? People just... turn into animals?

[Says the guy who's best friend has glowstick eyes.]

It's not everyone. But it's a magical thing, yeah.

[He's careful not to make it sound too special, because he doesn't want Malfoy to sound special, even if Malfoy can't even really turn into a ferret.]

[He might have scoffed that off before coming here, but he was quickly learning that things didn't always happen like they did at home.]

I guess it's not something you know that well.

No, not really. It's an area we're sort of just maybe possibly starting to look at as real. But, considering what else we've seen lately, it's kind of making it a little more feasible.

Well, we keep it a secret because most people have a hard time accepting it. I'd say "anyone" from our world is likely a wizard ... but percentage wise, it's unlikely. There are many more Muggles.

I don't actually know where it comes from, exactly, but it's their name for non-wizarding folk.

Wizards, huh? Not druids? Right. Wizards. Okay, I can deal with that.

Okay. So you're from a place with wizards and druids.

[Silence.]

What about werewolves? And kanimas?

There are werewolves. But I'm ... not sure what a kanima even is.

A giant lizard thing that can paralyze you that's supposed to be a werewolf with identity issues.
