[Hello, Asgard. The entire city is treated to this lovely smiling visage.]

Hey there, Asgard. So, after a lot of thought, I've come to realize I really need to get a job. Preferably not at a pet store.
[Sorry, Scott, but if he had to work around Isaac and Derek, it was likely there'd be some sort of war involving projectile puppies or kittens. No one wanted that, man. No one.]
A man needs to be able to buy the finer things in life. Maybe some of the not so fine things as well. I don't know what the job market's like out here, but Stiles needs some dough.
[He needed to be able to impress, not that it had ever helped him before.]
Is there a sign up place? A help wanted section? A newspaper? Ye olde job market? Come on, help a guy out. I shouldn't have to state the obvious, but heavy lifting isn't my strong suit. Neither is anything involving having to move. Or do things that require effort.
[Okay, so it wasn't that bad, but he wanted to make sure his potential employer had lowered expectations. He might need to slack off to help a certain best friend out and if no one expected anything from him, that gave him a lot of leeway.]
So, any takers?

Jackson? What the hell are you doing here?
[Letting Derek in wasn't bad enough, they had to go get the psycho lizard killer as well? Great. Just when he'd been hoping to get Lydia to notice him. Way to ruin that, douche.]
If I was looking for a reference to potentially getting arrested or winding up on a milk carton, yeah, sure, I'd use you.

Don't know if I'm really... qualified to be owning anything of my own.
[Stiles knew his limits. He was the research kind of guy, not a 'welcome to my monkey palace, watch them dance' kind of guy. Though, dancing monkeys would be pretty cool.]

I run a bookshop in the Loki district. It will require some modicum of effort, but not a particularly great one.

Oh, I'm sorry, I can't hear you over Scott giving you your job back, which I heard you had before. At the pet store. With all the rest of the dogs. I mean, animals.
[The smile's back and he's aiming it at you, Derek.]

Someone should maybe fix that. Have like, a huge post it board in the center of town that has help wanted ads. Or just put up a text based section every week.

I don't know about required, but if you want to get anything that your house doesn't provide for you, having a little extra money's probably not a bad idea.
