[Anyone who spends any time at all with Nepeta should have noticed her absence the past day or so. She'd been just about everywhere hunting for easter eggs for a while, skipping about with two great baskets, one on each arm, and apparently throwing herself completely into this fun new game.

And then she just didn't show up any more.

Until now.]

My Pounce! Look, look everybody! It's my Pounce! She found me again!

[The feed shows a delighted Nepeta and a great white double-mouthed cat purring loudly and nuzzling all over her charge.

Yes, this is indeed why the small kittytroll hasn't been around. She's been busy cuddling her lusus, and has been for a while judging by the white hair covering her hat and coat.]

Things went wrong? [She looks sympathetic - she knows what that's like.]

Things went horribly wrong, yeah. But they generally do when the world's at war. [You know what, Nepeta. He likes you. You're not obnoxious like some of the other trolls.]

Your whole world is at war? [She makes an unhappy face, shaking her head.] That's awful. ...maybe things will have gotten better by the time you get to go back? If you do want to go back. [She tries!]

We've been in a war for a few years now. ...there's a girl here though from my world. She's a few months ahead of me in our timeline and she says the war's over. But you know. Can't always believe what you hear. Not really.

I'm not sure if I want to go back either way.

I suppaws that with something so important, it's easier to believe it if you get to see it for yourself, right?

I know, I understand that. I don't really have anything to go back to, but even if Alternia hadn't been destroyed I think I almost like it better here.

Precisely that. Granger's tried explaining it multiple times but somehow I can't grasp the concept without really seeing it myself.

Why? Not that Alternia's a better option if everything I've heard is true, but why here of all places?

Maybe you'll get to see it one day. Even if just fur a moment, so you can set your mind at rest!

Well...where else would we go? The others are here, and I don't know if we'd still be together if we were sent anywhere else.

Maybe...we'll see how it works out.

All I'm suggesting is that with so many people from some many worlds, we have our pick of the litter. We just have to figure out how to do so.

People have said no. I say we just haven't figured it out yet. It's a continual project I'm working on.

Heehee, yes, that's the spirit! It's something we can try working on fur sure!
