So, they say that you can judge people by what they like, right? I mean, if you like reading big long tedious books in your spare time, people will tend to think that you're big long and tedious when it comes to conversations. Or, if you like action movies and things with large explosions in them, people might think you're an adrenaline junkie and more likely to jump into a reckless situation. Or if you like really trashy romance novels, you don't actually have a life and stay at home all day because nobody will ever go out with you. Stuff like that, you get the idea.

So, I thought, why not ask people what they think about a certain thing I actually know a little bit about?

Insects.

[Yes, he's being serious. Nick gives the camera a level look.]

Tell me what insects you like, and I'll then judge what kind of person you are based on that. Yes, I'll count spiders in with that one. And if you don't like bugs all that much, you can just tell me which ones you don't like, and I'll judge that too. Think of this as a survey, of sorts.

If you have no idea what insects are, then I wonder what in the name of Sam Hill is going on with your world, because it must be the apocalypse over there or everything is messed up, that's all I can say.

Getting the attention I deserve. Sugar. Humans leaving my race alone for good. And so on and so on.

It's a decently-sized list, but most of the things that make me happy are just pipe dreams.

Getting rid of an entire race of human beings is much harder than it sounds, you know. Plus, they're all like little cockroaches...as soon as you get rid of some, more just pop up in their place.

I'm not a genocidal maniac, if that's what you're thinking. I just want them to go find another planet and leave my entire race alone. Forever.

Because as time goes on, my race will be eventually wiped out by them. It's already starting, actually. So, yeah, no, not a chance. We tried, but look where that got us.

You are not the only species who have been hurt by humans. And you are not the only non human species in this world.

And yet, do you see humans trying to kill those who are not like them? Is that something you see on the streets, happening right now?

News flash, kid. The reason why none of that is happening right now is because all of us are in the same boat. None of us, save the gods, is in a position of power or has something that people desperately need beyond anything else.

Back home, that was different. Our race had something that people would kill their best friends for. And they wouldn't take "no" for an answer.

Look, we tried getting along with humans, okay? But it was them who messed it up. It was them who made me hate them as much as I do.

The belief came after the actions, not beforehand.
