1st purr --> video

[Just an average afternoon in Asgard, and the feed video is tilted at an awkward angle to reveal a certain someone's room. That certain someone is Kuroneko, dressed in her usual black Lolita dress, her headband adorned by roses. You only see her back as she stares out the window, petting what seems to be a black furball.]

Soon, they will know of my--A-Alice, what are you--

[The black furball is indeed a cat, and it manages to scramble out of her arms and back to her bed. The cat that Yozora had left on her doorstep still never listened to her. Perhaps the cat didn't respond to what Kuroneko renamed her, but no matter. Kuroneko keeps going with her...game. She spreads her arms out wide, still facing out the window like a queen on a balcony.]

Huhuhu. Go forth, my minion, and gather your kin. All according to my plan. Once this first step is done, Asgard will kneel to our forces of despair!

Beep, beep. Beep, beep. Click.

[She grabs her cell phone from her pocket and speaks into it, even if there's no one on the other end.]

Yes? Is that so...My my, what a conundrum. We all knew the gods had wished to conspire against our plans in the first place. No matter, I'll take care of it. I have a most cunning plan, after all--[GASP] No way! They've recruited Shikkoku into their ranks? Well, well. This may turn out to be more interesting than I thought it would be. Our victory shall be all the more sweeter.

[She raises her free hand up, almost posing.]

Especially as I, Kuroneko, the Fallen Saint of Senyou, will use this bracelet to--

[Wait..she doesn't have the bracelet. Kuroneko starts to search frantically around the room, looking for that goddamn bracelet. Eventually, you see her surprised face close to the screen.]

A-ah...I...

...

D-don't you dare pay any attention to this!

[As quickly as she blurts that out, the feed suddenly clicks off.]

Of course not. Soon, they will all tremble before the name of the Fallen Saint, and fall to their knees, with much weeping, rending of hair, and gnashing of teeth. Even these so-called gods can only delay the inevitable.

Your activities have not gone unnoticed, Fallen Saint. Many more eyes than just one pair are upon you. When the fate of the city and of all the worlds may be at stake, you can hardly expect anything less. They are already here.

There is no opposition here. If anything, our observations will be stimulated by the activities of the Fallen Saint, the despair wrought by one such as Kuroneko. But Shikkoku and the angels are not the only ones who might have a reason to oppose the fearsome Fallen Saint. It will certainly be interesting. Perhaps, should Kuroneko's plan succeed in the way she intends, she will hear more...

Not at all, Kuroneko.

Ah, I must say I didn't expect this kind of response from a fellow fan.

[if only he can figure out what it is he's supposed to be a fan of...]

That's understandable, certainly. After so much time dealing with such unenlightened masses, anyone would be suspicious. And I suppose it's possible that certain aspects of our interpretations are different, so the mistake becomes even more forgivable.

[Aha... Maschera. Maschera, has he heard of that before? Well, he doesn't really need to have.]

It is one of my favorites. Its like has not been created for many years and I fear it will not be again.

That's one of Asgard's greatest failings, I'm afraid. No bad anime series, even. And it's a shame, since not even accounting for that, sometimes we can be waiting a long time on second seasons. Some series I know of have had three-year delays. The stakes become so high that there is an inevitable risk of disappointment.

Oh, certainly. It's one that won't overstay its welcome, if anyone won't. There are certainly plenty of things for them still to do. I doubt there would even be a point in trying to predict it.

Oh no, I'm sure it was a "fake-out" as they say. I don't know what to do with the cliffhanger sitting there, and us being forced merely to sit here and "save the world" while truly important things like this are happening at home.

[HEH he can't take this. has to respond with just:]

Indeed. It would be so much better.
