[Just an average afternoon in Asgard, and the feed video is tilted at an awkward angle to reveal a certain someone's room. That certain someone is Kuroneko, dressed in her usual black Lolita dress, her headband adorned by roses. You only see her back as she stares out the window, petting what seems to be a black furball.]

Soon, they will know of my--A-Alice, what are you--

[The black furball is indeed a cat, and it manages to scramble out of her arms and back to her bed. The cat that Yozora had left on her doorstep still never listened to her. Perhaps the cat didn't respond to what Kuroneko renamed her, but no matter. Kuroneko keeps going with her...game. She spreads her arms out wide, still facing out the window like a queen on a balcony.]

Huhuhu. Go forth, my minion, and gather your kin. All according to my plan. Once this first step is done, Asgard will kneel to our forces of despair!

Beep, beep. Beep, beep. Click.

[She grabs her cell phone from her pocket and speaks into it, even if there's no one on the other end.]

Yes? Is that so...My my, what a conundrum. We all knew the gods had wished to conspire against our plans in the first place. No matter, I'll take care of it. I have a most cunning plan, after all--[GASP] No way! They've recruited Shikkoku into their ranks? Well, well. This may turn out to be more interesting than I thought it would be. Our victory shall be all the more sweeter.

[She raises her free hand up, almost posing.]

Especially as I, Kuroneko, the Fallen Saint of Senyou, will use this bracelet to--

[Wait..she doesn't have the bracelet. Kuroneko starts to search frantically around the room, looking for that goddamn bracelet. Eventually, you see her surprised face close to the screen.]

A-ah...I...

...

D-don't you dare pay any attention to this!

[As quickly as she blurts that out, the feed suddenly clicks off.]

Or swift tactical re-plannings with your might assistant? I must say, the greatest risk of a cat for help would be that catnip could buy them.

[Now that little tidbit truly interested Kuroneko. If only she could steer the direction of the conversation away from her faux pas...]

[Ok, that was either posturing bullshit, or she was a really arrogant demon. Considering the silliness earlier, Samantha was betting it was the former, but admittedly her paranoia about all things demonic was acting up. The thought of testing Kuroneko dawned on her.

Lucifer Morningstar was the name he went by here. Wings, arrogance and everything. He's been gone for a while.

So, tell me, oh greater than demons. You wouldn't happen to know any other demonic names besides his would you?

[Even in her world, the Lesser Key wasn't exactly common reading, so it was good enough trivia to try her luck with.]

[It is indeed the former, however Kuroneko is a very obsessed otaku. Her favorite kinds of anime have to do with these dark, fantastical series, so she has done her homework.]

I know plenty. Asmodeus, Astaroth, Beelzebub, Belghephor, Belial... [And on and on she goes, actually typing out a list on the network.]

[Mostly other names for Satan, but after a fashion it was starting to get a little concerning, particularly the Belghephor reference. Admittedly, ...]

I think you mean Belphegor... [But something about this was starting to make her feel squirming. She wondered if this one actually knew something or not.]

Let's not fuck around here. Cute little getting caught making an ass out of yourself aside, are you actually a demon? Concerned parties might want to know.

Yes...this just proves my point that these bracelets are such difficult little trinkets.

[Huh, usually people just accepted her little Queen of Nightmare act, but in this place, it was different. "Other worlds" and all that complicated stuff. Still, Kuroneko wasn't ready to come clean just quite yet.]

Why, are you one of them?

[The reply came with a short video feed of the red-head, staring at the screen in a paranoid fashion. The horns were perfectly visible, as were the blood-red eyes and the little fangs. Was that a tail swishing in the background?

And then it was gone, and there was a text statement.]

The less involved I am with 'family business,' the better it is. I prefer to know who I'm dealing with when it comes to demons.

[Whoa. Kuroneko could hardly believe her eyes. A real live demon! She didn't know how to react either. This was the same kind of excitement that she had with Euri. Still, since Sam seemed to be the real deal, Kuroneko knew not to piss her off...if only Kuroneko wasn't as rude as before!]

I admit that I am in no way involved with your family...

[As long as the name 'Valefar' never left Kuroneko's lips, things would stay surly but reasonable. His was a dangerous name to say with her.]

Well, I prefer my mother's side of the family to my dad's anyway. As long as you're not one of his finally come to check up on me, we can keep all this nice and civil.

I can assure you I'm not. I have more important things on my mind than getting involved in someone else's family matters.

[And as long as Samantha didn't outright reveal that Kuroneko was pretending to be an anime villain all the time, she's fine with this arrangement.]

Then we can have an understanding. Might as well switch to introductions then. Samantha Grey.

[For a moment, Kuroneko wondered whether giving an alias on top of her own alias would work...but then again, she had already revealed that she was Kuroneko on the network. Might as well switch to her own recognizable text format. Besides, if she was going to learn more about this demon, might as well come clean with herself now.]

I go by Kuroneko.

Nifty color Kuroneko. You wouldn't happen to be a troll would you?

No. I just want to separate myself from the mundane Asgardians on the network. I told you of my demonic origins; I am hardly a troll.

There are days when I think they're still from hell, trust me. Fair enough. Well, I suppose it's good to meet you, ignoring the whole 'plotting to conquer the world' thing.

You'll learn to get used to it in time.

And well, I may not be a troll, but taking advantage of idiots and putting them in their place can be rather amusing.

It can be, but don't let it go to your head or you'll end up with more pissed off than you can handle.

With some of the experiences I've had here, I feel that warning comes far too late.

So far you haven't really pissed me off. Let's call that a victory for today. It can be surprisingly easy to do.

Well, so we should. I must say though, the reactions are part of the fun. I'm not one to be taken lightly.
