Teasure 014 ❊ ACTION anywhere on the city streets.

[Scrolling along the streets of Asgard you’ll find a small boy is…committing acts of vandalism? Well he is certainly painting a weird circle shaped design on the wall of that build over there. The design is made up of bunch of symbols, it looks harmless though but who knows with the weird things this city throws at you.]

There that should be the last one. [He certainly looks pleased with himself as he finishes up his work. He closes a jar of weird looking black paint put it and his brush into a large rucksack. Just as he about to leave the design suddenly flashes white and then begins to glow going from white to blue to gold. Now this situation has gone from odd to freaky. Not that the kid is even paying any attention to this and he'll head off on his way if you don't stop him.]

((OOC: If you want to figure out what going on you can catch Aladdin in the act anytime throughout most of the city. ))

Huh, really? I never knew that! Does that mean you know magic?

I've only seen people who can heal, grow plants, and sometimes use fire and ice but I don't think I've seen anything else outside of that!

I could use magic back in my world but stuff I learned here is all new to me.

That's just the magic that the gods gave us, runic magic is a bit different. It used to be used a lot in this city but because of the grey people couldn't use it anymore.

Oh, what kind? I only have pokemon back in my world but...I don't think that counts as magic!

So...how is runic magic different from the magic we have now?

I can do all sorts of elemental magic, but one of my favorite spells is Ugo. I use gravity magic to form sand into any sort of shapes like people and places. [He really misses his old powers.] Pokemon? Are you one of those trainers, I've only seen about two different pokémon so far.

The biggest difference is do a spell you have to put do runes on an object. After you place its permanent and you can use the spell anytime you want.

Like if I wanted to make a box that filled with watermelon. I just put the right order of runes on an empty box and ever time you open the box it would be filled with chilled watermelon slices.

Huh? So it's like snow but you can make all the snowmen you want! It's kind of like that right? [Yup] And that's right! I have two pokemon with me here!

Ooohhh, that makes it a little bit easier to use spells whenever you want! And it sounds really cool to do something like that! I wish I can do that!

You got a good gist of it, I can make them move any way I want.

What are they like, if you don't mind me asking? The two I saw, one was a big fluff dragon and the other was called Cyndaquil I think.

Why don't you stop by Grimoire's sigil, it's a guild about magic that I run. I can show you how to make your own arrays if you want. [People didn't even need to join the guild to learn about runes.]

We can even start now if you like.

Oh, I think you might be talking about Hilda's Reshiram! Is it this big white dragon? Because that's it!

Well, I could give you a really long explanation but just know that pokemon are creatures that needs to be treated just like everyone else! They know what other people are saying and know how to communicate with others if you spend enough time with them! Mhmm, just like that!

Grimoire's sigil...I would love to learn more about the magic from your world! And if I can figure out how to use them, maybe I can learn how to help people here too!

You've probably seen how the grey effected people and places right? It effected the magic in the city too. Apparently once the grey set in, the magic sort of died off.

Even with a lot of the grey being gone, the magic is still dormant and unusable.

This is the only array that works right now, I'm using it help wake up the city's magic.

Oh I see! Hm...I wonder will it be enough...I can try to do most of the work but I'm not too sure will it work... [With that she shakes her head]

No, I'm sure it will! If I get a bunch of other people to help, it might just work!

Don't worry the other guild members are helping out too and asking their friends to help as well.

That's great! Just tell me what to do with the rune circle and I'll do the rest!

Alright I just need you to practice getting this down before you put one up. You'll be learning as we go, this array is pretty simple. [He takes out a blank hard cover book, a picture of the array and a pencil then hands to her. ]

Just try to copy this as best you can, I'll look for the next location for the array.

[She stares intensely at the book and the array inside. Brb, trying her best to draw over it but...]

...Try again and this time, just focus on putting the runes you see in order don't worry about the shape for now.

[So far so good...she's trying to make sure she sees what's going on and put everything in order! But she's not great at it, just getting the hang of it...]

That's better you're getting! Just try drawing it out a few more times.

[As long as she was good it was fine. Thankfully that circle was pretty uncomplicated.]

So...once I do get this down...how will I find out who else is in the guild?

Oh don't worry about that I have a list of all the member, I'm the leader of the guild after all I have to keep track of that.

The easy part is learning about all the symbols and how they interact with each. That should only take a few weeks at best.

The hard but fun part is creating your own sort of rune arrays. That can take any amount of time.

Hm...if it's like that, it's kind of like pokemon in a way! You find out how all the pokemon out there and how they interact with others!

And the best part is that once you spend some time with them, they get stronger! Just like that!

That's a pretty good way to think about it! With that sort of attitude you'll learn how to use them in no time.

Eh? You mean no one has ever learned how to master them?

But I guess mastering something you're not use to is difficult...
