[Scrolling along the streets of Asgard you’ll find a small boy is…committing acts of vandalism? Well he is certainly painting a weird circle shaped design on the wall of that build over there. The design is made up of bunch of symbols, it looks harmless though but who knows with the weird things this city throws at you.]

There that should be the last one. [He certainly looks pleased with himself as he finishes up his work. He closes a jar of weird looking black paint put it and his brush into a large rucksack. Just as he about to leave the design suddenly flashes white and then begins to glow going from white to blue to gold. Now this situation has gone from odd to freaky. Not that the kid is even paying any attention to this and he'll head off on his way if you don't stop him.]

I'm placing array to increase the magic flow in this spot.

Just like ogham.

Ogham, is that a form of magic? [He taking a wild guess here. It would make sense based on the way she reacted to the array in the first place.]

Yes. It is very similar to what you transcribed, although the symbols are very different.]

I've only been focusing on this form of written magic lately, I haven't look into other form as closely yet.

Can you tell me more about it. [Having the chance to learn more about magic in any form is exciting enough for him. This might even help with runes in some roundabout way.]

[There's a much better way of telling someone about the ogham and their properties by showing them. Regina dips one of her claw-like fingers in the paint and slowly draws out a circle she knows.]

It is better to be seen. They are letters that represent things from the fig to honey suckle. Transcribed into a circle, they do very much what you are doing. They can invoke, seal, and protect. This is what the druids of Eire have taught me.

It's a different sort of magical circle then. [He's already memorizing the shape of it.] What does this one in particular do?

I'm not actually sure of the extent of this magic, since I learned about it here. I found out that is pretty common in this world as a whole, it's just because of the grey that it hasn't be used in Asgard for quite some time.

This circle has the markings of protection, mostly. An ogham circle is not as used as much with the Eire; they chose to inscribe it on stone or wooden staves. In Cymru, we do not have these, but different symbols.

I see that does sounds quite a bit like the runes around here, like with inscribing them into objects.

[He mumbles a little to himself as he recalls something.]

...Maybe that's another reason why it was like that in Utgard.

What was Utgard like?

The place is covered in working arrays it's really amazing so many of them there. Not to mention, all the technology stuff they had, like self propelled wagons.

It was great, I can't wait to go again actually. This time I'll remember not to stand in the road because that is a bad thing.

How old are you?

I'm not sure exactly but I think I'm around twelve or eleven.

And it is hard to tell with children such as you. A child your age for my kind would be nearly tall as me.
