[ He was doing great dealing with temptation until Charles holds out the bow for him. Kaworu observes the instrument and reluctantly takes it, before he moves to reach for the violin.

That is strange, though. The concept, I mean. Doesn't that make you quite like insects? [which he actually means in a non-insulting way, by the sounds of things. but he'll take this little victory as a distraction in the meantime, handing the violin over from its case with a smile.]

[ Kaworu takes the violin, fingers touching it softly. Very carefully, the boy touches the surface, examines it and weights the instrument, smiling at the feeling. ] Thank you.

when the violin is offered he takes it without pause, standing from his seat to get into a proper playing stance. after a moment of consideration, he begins to play the melody of Chopin's Nocturne in C# Minor N.20. how suitably melancholy and dramatic for the kid wearing a cape...]
