Fifth Catch -Video- [Filtered from Annie Cresta]

[When the video cuts on, Finnick is sitting on his bed with his back against the wall. He's wearing a pair of pajama pants barely visible, but his torso is naked showing off his muscular figure. His head hits the wall behind him with a soft thud as he gives a small grin.]

So, I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Who is actually going to stand up and fight a war that isn't even theirs to fight?

Is it worth it to you all to save some place that you aren't even all that attached to?

[He smiles reaching down beside him, the sound of a paper bag rustling before he holds up his hand which has a single sugar cube between his pointer and thumb. He studies it before popping it into his mouth, and then licking his lips.]

I'm just curious. After all, I have to know who is going to stand beside me when the time comes, right?

[Finnick gives a smile and a small wave.]

I don't think war should be 'easy'.

I don't want death to be easy, even if there's no other choice. Making decisions because they're easy, not because they're right ... that's not reasoning I want to accept.

That's true in some cases -- but I don't think you'll find many here who want to die regardless.

There is!

I guess I want a more concrete idea of who we're fighting, why and how. This is too important for me to want to see people going into it without the knowledge of what exactly they're doing. There's too much at stake for mistakes.

I've made that decision already. I know what I'll do and what I won't do to keep my friends safe.

It's where to stand that's difficult.

But how will you do that?

The fire giants and frost giants didn't care whose side we were on when they attacked us in the woods. They didn't give us the chance to negotiate -- they attacked. I think it's clear where we stand with them.

The gods though, and Ragnarok. Saying everything we know will be remade, and some lucky few chosen to rebuild it -- if we lose. If we win, everything remains the same. I'd be very interested to know if losing Ragnarok means that they're unmade ... I can't help but feel they're tricking us again.

I disagree. For me, knowing where my limits are, what the possibilities are beforehand is going to stop me choosing the easy option over the right option when things get serious. Being flexible and rolling with the circumstances is a strength -- but I don't want to find I've been manipulated by the gods into something that ultimately hurts those here and home.

At least we've got time now to think and plan and prepare. We won't always be so lucky.
