Fifth Catch -Video- [Filtered from Annie Cresta]

[When the video cuts on, Finnick is sitting on his bed with his back against the wall. He's wearing a pair of pajama pants barely visible, but his torso is naked showing off his muscular figure. His head hits the wall behind him with a soft thud as he gives a small grin.]

So, I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Who is actually going to stand up and fight a war that isn't even theirs to fight?

Is it worth it to you all to save some place that you aren't even all that attached to?

[He smiles reaching down beside him, the sound of a paper bag rustling before he holds up his hand which has a single sugar cube between his pointer and thumb. He studies it before popping it into his mouth, and then licking his lips.]

I'm just curious. After all, I have to know who is going to stand beside me when the time comes, right?

[Finnick gives a smile and a small wave.]

Is that a threat or a friendly warning, I wonder? And that's okay, there's no need for concern on my part if that's what this is. Like you said, I'm not entirely defenceless. I just prefer to avoid violence where possible.

It's a friendly piece of advice. There's no reason to threaten someone who is only in the business of giving opinions, right?

Ah, you'd be surprised. For some people threats and physical violence are automatic positions even when all they're being given are opinions they may not particularly like to hear.

I don't see the point in censoring myself, regardless. I think it's important to remain true to your ideologies no matter the situation, after all.

[Though this isn't necessarily true. He's careful when he wants to be, not to mention that he'll lie and deceive whenever it suits him :|]

I certainly wouldn't mind someone giving an unwanted opinion. However, if that opinion slips into territory it shouldn't then I think the fault lies with the speaker if they end up in trouble.

Still, whether that territory is safe or not is an entirely subjective matter, isn't it? It all depends on how each individual defines their boundaries, and one never knows exactly what those boundaries are going to be unless they test them.

Not if the boundaries are laid out. Like if I were to say leave that girl alone, and you didn't. Then the fault lies with you, right?

Ah, you make it sounds as though I was maliciously targeting her or something. Still, if you want to ask me to back off there's no reason why you can't be direct about it. I'm not an unreasonable guy.

Oh, I never said anything like that. It's just an example after all, but I would appreciate if you would be nicer to Annie next time. After all, I doubt people around her like seeing Annie upset.

Of course, just an example ☆

But sure, I can try to behave myself if it'll make you feel better. The last thing I'd want is for it to seem as though I'd intentionally upset anyone.
