He's been keeping to himself for as long as it was possible without actually connecting with this magicked bangle, mostly because he's still very very pissed off over ending up in a mockery of the land he calls home, but there's only so long one can go before the itch of curiosity becomes too much.

So here he is, making a post on the network, every bit of him looking highly unimpressed.]

This whole place being disingenuous and uninspired as it is — permit me to ask, really, but is there any other reason for the snow occurring beyond that it could?

Ne ... for someone to be able to take an ability away from someone of Loki-sama's standing, what would be necessary? That's got to be very hard to do, right?

[It's not so much that he lost his powers as it is that he's been so severely depowered it's like operating with one functioning faculty instead of the usual 10 to 20.]

Nothing is difficult if the All-Father wishes it. Hence my doubts about many of these things this place claims to be - is this be truly Asgard, I sense not my Father's hand in it.

Then it is the same. We are different; I am what I can do, because it is so, but mortals have no problem with this. You are not eternal, and so you are greatly changeable.

But for us - our names carry more than just identity. And I do not doubt who I am, so something must have fallen off the picture in this place for me to have lost my ears.

[Conan frowns. He's used to instantly grasping complex situations, so finding himself at a loss is a new situation -- one that, since arriving in Asgard, is becoming more familiar.]

I think I disagree, Loki-sama. People develop as they grow, but change ... that's a lot harder. I think the essentials -- who that person is on the inside, they remain constant. Defining yourself by your abilities on the other hand -- can that really be applicable in a place where the rules of your world which allow you to do what you can do are negated?

-- ah, that is assuming your powers are negated. I mean, it seems like that's what has happened for everyone I've met so far with abilities ...
