[Aerith's been pretty busy ever since arriving, though a bit unsettled by her new surroundings at first. yeah, she might have spent a large chunk of her life on a world that wasn't actually her own, spontaneous world travel wasn't exactly something she has a lot of experience with, either.]

[regardless! sometimes other worlds need more assistance than her own does, and Aerith is more than willing to help out. besides, seeing a bunch of people from different places gathered into one area is pleasantly familiar. no need to worry about breaking the rules about different worlds here.]

Hello! I have a quick question for everyone – there are a lot of people here from a lot of different places, so I'm hoping there are others here who would know.

Is anybody else familiar with hearts? Not just the organ; I mean more like the hearts that pertain to worlds themselves.

If you do, let me know. I have an idea.

Most of the worlds I've been to have their own hearts. I know it sounds strange, but I like to think it's not the strangest story out there.

Depends on who's telling the stories. German fairy tales are seriously screwed up. So, the question I've got now, since I have a basic idea about this batch of gobbledeegook, is why are you asking it here? This isn't exactly the sort of place you expect folks to all be on the same page, after all.

Well, usually friendship is based off of having something in common – I think forming bonds is part of what we're supposed to be doing here, right?

Besides, passing on extra information doesn't hurt.

Some bad news, lady. They called us here for our emotions, or at least that's what they told us when they kidnapped us. Emotions don't always mean you're friends. Just something to keep in the back of your mind.

So, what'm I supposed to do knowing the world might have a heart?

I can already tell that they must be interested in variety.

You can do what you normally do in your spare time, I suppose. Would you even consider that useful information?

That depends. There a giant stake to go through this world's heart? It's bleeding me dry. heh

Pity, a real pity. Well, I'll have to look for other ways to vent I suppose. What point is there in a world having a heart, anyway? Does it matter?

They're just like a person's heart, where I'm from. Kind of what separates one world from the other.

I haven't heard anyone say they've heard of a world having feelings like people, though.

Not sure how close this whole situation's to that type of thing. This world doesn't act right or smell right at all.

This world kind of reminds me of a world I'd been on before I came here, to be honest.

What exactly do you mean by smell, though?

It's like the colors. It's not like a bloodhound's thing. It just smells dead, gray, lifeless, stale. Everything here just feels like it's not as alive as it should be.

Creepy as hell.

I'm under the impression that things have gotten a lot better in time. Maybe someday you won't hate this world as much as you seem to.

I wouldn't hold out too much hope, miss. I've never had a lot of love for my world either, so I don't have much reason to expect this one to be better.

That's all right; I have a lot of hope to spare.
