Last time I went home and came back here, that I remember, I was gone about a week? But I've had some of my friends stay asleep longer. Scott was out for a few weeks.

Is it proportional? The longer you stay asleep, the more you go through at home?

I don't think so? I've seen people go grey and come back without having been any different. And some take a nap and go through a week or a month or... you know, it's not really relative. Maybe it depends on how much of a break they need from here?

Kind of the thing about omnipotent beings. They're not big on permission. I mean, do you ask a bug before you squish it or take it out of the house?

Maybe they do. Maybe we just haven't figured out the lingo. All I know is I'm not sharing sleeping space with something that has more legs than I do.

Have you seen what a flood of army ants can do to a carcass? Bees can be trained a little, I think. Bugs are a bit harder to train, but some people have managed it.
