[ it has been a while since Kaworu showed his face and made a post, hasn't it? This time around he is at the park. His really pale skin is red from the sun - probably burnt, too, because Kaworu is like an albino - and it's obvious he is feeling the heat, but he is sitting under a tree in the shade ]

Hello. [ have a gentle smile, everyone! ] I hope everyone is alright, even though recent events show us it is getting more dangerous. Even so, there is still much to see and learn in this world. Only recently I've found there are small fans to place inside houses to refresh the place. [ yeah he didn't know about that sort of fans )8 ] Even after so long here, there is much for me to learn.

I suppose it makes me curious: what is the most fascinating thing you have seen in this world?

I do have another question. [ but of course. And it'll be a bit more personal ] After the war has ended and if the Gods and the travelers win, would you wish to stay in this world, or would you rather return? And why?

Wouldn't that make you a dying race, however? If you do not press forward.

[ Maglor shrugs a little ] A stagnant one, perhaps - but we Eldar are tied to the life of the world, remember - so long as Arda exists, so also do we. In that sense, we do not, and will not die.

[5thchild]

I see.

Perhaps it's not such a bad existence, Maglor. Each race has their own way of life, and even if stagnant you exist. I don't think such existence is bad.

[bythewaves]

Perhaps, but it seems to be a shame. Once, we were great and glorious, but we are only a fading memory now - things change, I know, and our time in Middle-earth is done, but to dwell forever in the memory of the past seems to me ill-done.

Are you the only one who thinks so? or are there more sharing the same opinion?

I do not know, in honesty - I have not come among our people for near six thousand years of the sun. But it was always one of our failings, that we dwelt too deeply on past glories.

[5thchild]

Perhaps others feel the same now, as well. perhaps they have met others beyond their kind and realized changing might be the only way of survival.

do you not believe so?

[bythewaves]

I do not know [ Maglor shrugs a little ] I would hope we learnt our lessons, but... I suppose unless more of my kin are brought here I will never know for certainty.

The possibility of ever meeting one of your kin does not exist anymore? Even if they travel to the places you travel to?

[bythewaves]

It is not so much a matter of meeting them istyar...remember how I told you that I am Exile? To a people who do not forget, I am more than that - I am the story parents use to frighten their children, the enemy who slew parents, siblings, children, lovers... even if I found them, I do not think any would speak to me. Indeed, I would be fortunate if they did nit immediately try to take my head!

I do remember, but if there is a chance they might desire change, just like you too desire, perhaps there is a chance they will change the stories they have always spoken of, as well.

[bythewaves]

Perhaps, perhaps... but our memories are long, and our hatreds equally so - and many have good reason to fear and despise me. Only time will tell, I suppose, but I do not think that much will change. Not for many generations of Men.

Don't you think Man can help them to change? Or other kinds? After all, there are times when they will meet and the smallest drop in an ocean still causes ripples.

[bythewaves]

Mm, I do not know. We are not just leaving but withdrawing, istyar - but, if change will come, Elrond will see it done.

[5thchild]

I hope there is still more of a path for you to follow, not simply watching the world move on, but to follow with it.

[bythewaves]

Mm, only time will tell, I suppose. We shall see.

[5thchild]

Yes, we shall. [ well, maglor will, at least ]

My existence in the world is short. I'm Not meant to lve long.

The opposite from me - but I will see what might be done, if it come to that.

I do not know if anything can be done, of course - but I would see you live, istyar, if I can.

I'm sorry. But it's already decided that I will always die soon after I come to the world. It's not something to be sad about. I'm glad for it.

[bythewaves]

That is a grievous shame, istyar - I wish it could be different.

It's not something to grieve, Maglor. it's something I chose to do and a weight I will gladly take.
