I know the attack by those ice pixie... things and the ice monsters wasn't exactly fun for anyone involved, but it got me thinking on something.

Has anyone re-examined the ice on the bridge? It seems like Thiazi is getting more and more... mentally unstable, maybe that means her powers are too. Maybe that means we can do something about the ice?

I would appreciate anyone's notes on the matter if they went to examine it already. Or maybe we can organize another examination of it?

A warning to anyone new, don't touch it though, it'll cause instant frost bite... or it did when it first happened. I haven't gone to look at it since.

Woah, seriously? [FINALLY! A guy his age! Though that didn't mean much to Ritsuka since most boys his age were as annoying as girls his age but at least he might not have such a trouble with this one.]

There's a serious lack of guys our age here, though a surprising number of kids in general.

If they're older they're all obsessed with... Well, generally themselves and their relationships. Not my brother though. Nice to meet you too. It's weird that the gods bring in so many teenagers and younger though.

what's weird is that they bring in people who'd be useless in a battle when they're trying to populate an army?? you sound like you're on pretty good terms with your brother, though. Is he here too?

Like me, for example. I'm certainly not someone who's going to be in an army. And yeah! I love my brother. Seimei is here too, though he tends to be very private.

I've got some brothers too, but they're all assholes. not that any of my family is here. Hey, do you like video games?

at least you get along, right? Apparently they've got some racing games in the living area of the Hall I'm at. but it's not so much fun playing against the computer

Yeah, Seimei means a lot to me. That's cool. I'm not that great with racing games, I tend to go for RPGs, but I'd definitely play.

what kind of RPGs do you like?

Well, there's one back home that they don't have here. It was a fantasy game, I was a thief role.

What do you mean IN? Like... you're a video game back home or something?

no I mean I was in one like you have to go inside it to play in person there are all these cards you've gotta collect, and some are really hard to get. you need to complete missions or trigger certain events, stuff like that

So then virtual reality? That's cool though, what was the game?

Greed Island. I think it's more likely an isolated place in the real world though because you're physically transported there. it's not virtual. I'm still trying to figure it out

that's what I'm trying to figure out It's a bunch of video game logic like monsters turning into cards when you beat them and NPCs only knowing a few lines of information... And cards that can teleport you other places or let you talk to people like on a phone. But things like gravity are the same. It feels physically real. and if you don't leave your body behind when you enter the game, it doesn't make sense right? where would it go?

Do you get physically injured in it if you get hurt in the game? Like, a bruise or something if your character was attacked? I can't say there's anything that advanced back home for me.

yeah, and if you die it's game over in the outside world too. It's interesting, for sure. Definitely not navigable unless you've got the proper skills. though no one's ever beat it

This is sounding less like a game and more of just kidnapping to another world. So everyone who has entered it has been killed? How has this thing been allowed to exist?

no no it's not that they were all killed. just that no one's won yet We're gonna win though. Gon and me. We're gonna beat it. it's gonna be awesome.

But they still die in real life if they die in the game. I'm unconvinced it's not being kidnapped. Just be safe, I guess. No "reset" buttons, by the sound of it.

there are ways to leave the game without dying, just exiting. some people just stay in there forever, doesn't mean they die. and we chose to go in voluntarily. we worked really hard to earn a spot since it's sooo hard to get in the game! It was pretty cool.
