I know the attack by those ice pixie... things and the ice monsters wasn't exactly fun for anyone involved, but it got me thinking on something.

Has anyone re-examined the ice on the bridge? It seems like Thiazi is getting more and more... mentally unstable, maybe that means her powers are too. Maybe that means we can do something about the ice?

I would appreciate anyone's notes on the matter if they went to examine it already. Or maybe we can organize another examination of it?

A warning to anyone new, don't touch it though, it'll cause instant frost bite... or it did when it first happened. I haven't gone to look at it since.

I haven't heard of any organized attempt on it, but if there's a chance things have changed we probably ought to take a look. You think something she created in the past will be effected by the state of her mind now?

I don't see why not? The gods created that barrier before, and when under duress, it gets affected. Why shouldn't she have the same rules apply?

I didn't know about that. It's a fair thought. If no one else shows interest I may be able to round up a few people - at the least, there're a couple native volunteers for the military who I think wouldn't mind helping out. Do you know enough about the magic of this world to have a few ideas?

I meant magic in general - the abilities of the gods and giants, Thiazi's in particular. But runes couldn't hurt. There used to be a group devoted to teaching people about the runes, but I don't know if anyone who ran it is still here.

And no, I'm in the military - I might be able to convince at least one engineer to come help. Let me know what you end up needing.

While there's a lot of weird shit that happens in Asgard, atheistically, it looks like a rather ordinary town/older city. The bridge is clearly devoured by ice. But fair enough, you're new.

And good. Don't need to waste medical supplies when you can just not touch it.

Off the top of my head?

A medic, an engineer, someone with the highest level of ice and fire powers, rune magic maybe, maybe even military or city patrol.

Though I'm sure there are other factors to consider.

I'll bring a couple men to wave at it with our swords, but I don't know how much use we're going to be. I think your best hope lies with the engineers - I've spoken to one, Mr. Leonardo da Vinci, who's willing to work on it. Let us know when you plan to start and we'll be there.

Well, I think for now, I'll wait to see how many others respond with information. No point in planning an examination if someone's already done that. But I'll definitely get back to you on it, especially if there's more interest in going to check the thing out.

Your hopes depend on Thiazi's mind being too unstable to keep it up - I doubt anyone's tried to destroy the ice since that started. But it's a fair point. If you do decide to try, I'm sure I'll be around.

Is that what you're waiting for? No one's going to be able to tell you what condition Thiazi's mind is in. The only way to find out how it effects her magic is to try it ourselves.

No, that isn't what I'm waiting for. I'm waiting for people to respond on whether or not they already looked at the ice and what those results concluded, if anything.

Not whether or not Thiazi is mentally ill. That one is pretty obvious.
