Day 475 [Video]
[In spite of the cold snap, Jane is seen out and about the Freyr District in this video. It's night, and she's wrapped up considerably against the snow, which has begun to slow for the time being. It floats in the light of the street lamp she's under, and she gives the feed a very serious look.]
I strongly advise anyone with no particular business to stay indoors tonight. Given the unusual shift in the weather, there's no telling what could happen next, so if it isn't an urgent matter or you're not part of the City Patrol, like myself, then you're much better off by the fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa.
[Her expression sours just a little bit. It'd be nice to heed her own advice, but, well. She signed up to patrol, and by gum she'll patrol.]
Um, that being said, I'd like to put a message out to the others in the City Patrol as well. I was wondering if, perhaps, we could get together and discuss some things, patrol routes and whatnot. I'd be happy to host it, if need be.
[A pause. Jane bites her lip; she wants to make this sound official and helpful and...is she even doing that? Aaaugh...]
Well, erm, have a good night! Stay warm, everyone!

Hmmm.
Well, we all have to share the people we love, right?
But that makes the time we spend with them all the more precious.
And I guess a nickname like that depends on how you use it, but plenty of friends give each other silly names.
Other activities? Let's see...
Generally spending time with each other is ideal for close friends. Going to fun places together, confiding in each other - those are the sorts of things close friends do.
Notes on paper might be useful though! If the network on the bracelets becomes inaccessible, how else would you retrieve them?
Um...internal timers, you mean? Like...internal clocks...?

I suppose. No one can live with having a single type of relationship, correct? As much as it pains me, I do not wish to overwhelm her. [It really was difficult, but if he can survive being without her for almost an entire year, then he is more than willing to survive that. Either way, Jane's response over friendship will leave him feeling pensive over the matter a little longer. Was "old man" used as a "silly" nickname or a way to insult the older Time Lord? Well, he has confide in him and has done activities with him too. He knows Leonardo is his closest friend, but he hasn't found a nickname for the painter yet. Well. Nonetheless, Soushi has decided to keep those thoughts in the back of his mind as he, technically, is no longer friends with neither of them. There is no time to think of silly matter such as that.] Thank you very much for answering my questions. I'll keep those ideas in mind for after the war. I do not believe it is the time to be thinking of such matters at the moment.
[Moving on to the next subject. Soushi will be keeping his mind on the next part of their conversation as a way to keep his mind from thinking back to the topic of friendship.]
That's an excellent point. We have no way of determining that Loki-kami-sama will have the power to continue generating the city's network. From the little we learned of Odin-kami-sama's deep sleep, the deity's abilities will seize to function until they awaken or someone assists in the workload. I suppose writing on paper is more prudent than leaving it digitally. [If that's the case, then he should find a way to print out his photos from his bracelet as soon as he can. Jane has given him much to think about now.] Good catch! Internal clocks sound better than timers. After all, my timer isn't counting down. Thank you very much for the correction.

I'm speaking from experience, so trust me, a friend can keep your spirits up for quite a while.
[Though not every friend can help you chin up forever...]
It's very important to have backup copies of things! I definitely recommend hard copies.
Oh, I see now! How interesting...

[As for the friendship aspect of the conversation, it will leave Soushi pensive over the matter concerning his relationships with other people. Truth be told, he was beginning to miss those he used to interact with, but then he can't help remember the reason he has forcefully eliminated all contact with them to begin with. He almost even wondered if he deserved to have anyone by his side. After all, who wants to be friends with a convict?]
In other words, there was a time your spirits were down, Crocker-san? Does friendship truly help in that aspect? Even if one has committed a terrible crime, is one even deserving of it? Wouldn't it be more proper to distance yourself from them?
[Does friendship really matter in war? He couldn't help allow his negative thoughts and guilt take control of the way he thought. He doesn't believe he deserves it. Not him.]

[See, this is what happens when Jane gives advice to people she doesn't know.]
Yes, that's right. And it did!
Everyone is deserving of friendship, even if they've done something bad.
I think...that so long as the person was sorry for what they had done, and asked forgiveness from their friends, they would get it and repair any bonds that had been broken.
[At least, that's what she hopes will happen.]
