[In spite of the cold snap, Jane is seen out and about the Freyr District in this video. It's night, and she's wrapped up considerably against the snow, which has begun to slow for the time being. It floats in the light of the street lamp she's under, and she gives the feed a very serious look.]

I strongly advise anyone with no particular business to stay indoors tonight. Given the unusual shift in the weather, there's no telling what could happen next, so if it isn't an urgent matter or you're not part of the City Patrol, like myself, then you're much better off by the fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa.

[Her expression sours just a little bit. It'd be nice to heed her own advice, but, well. She signed up to patrol, and by gum she'll patrol.]

Um, that being said, I'd like to put a message out to the others in the City Patrol as well. I was wondering if, perhaps, we could get together and discuss some things, patrol routes and whatnot. I'd be happy to host it, if need be.

[A pause. Jane bites her lip; she wants to make this sound official and helpful and...is she even doing that? Aaaugh...]

I'll be sure not to stay out too late, but I'm still going out with a friend. [There was an air of stubborness in her tone.] Usually, with a shift like this, it takes at least a day before it really ramps up.

[A bundled up Kirigiri appears back on Jane's feed. It seems she is trying to beat the weather as well.]

I think meeting up would be splendid idea. To discuss what this could possibly mean. [Another attack? Just a strange cold front?] Either way, this is ominous.

Oh, definitely. I doubt winter wonderlands in the middle of summer are per the norm in Asgard. But I was also thinking along the lines of setting some protocols in place when trouble does turn up. I haven't come across anything yet, but I want to be sure of the procedures we need to take if I do.

[A sigh.] Please be sure to bundle up regardless! And whatever you and your friend are doing, try to be home before another band of snow blows in. I'd rather not have someone come across anyone half-frozen in a snow drift.

Thiazi, you mean? It's certainly my top suspicion.

It's not a suspicion with me. I'm certain of it. She's done this before. [She grunted.] I'm going out bundled, and I plan to make sure she's safe. If worst comes to worse, we'll bunker down in Hel House to warm up and hit my place. It's closer than hers.

Yeah, that's probably a good idea. This kind of weather in the middle of the summer is a pretty bad omen - we should probably have as many people on watch as much as possible.

Sure, I'm part of the patrol. Better we all know where we stand, work out ourselves a system. At least then, there's less chance of anything slipping through our net.

Perfect network announcement. I congratulate you on a job well-done, fellow City Patrol-san. It's wonderful to know that my fellow team mates are thinking ahead and alike.

[Well, he does mean that as he wanted to make a similar announcement. He's glad someone else was able to do the same without him having to open communication to his close acquaintances. With the situation back in his home and the surprise arrival of his master for the short time, he did not feel up to opening himself to the public again.

Now, as for the rest of her post, Soushi agrees with the idea of having a discussion, but...]

If I may be as bold as to request, would it be possible for me to join the meeting through the bracelet than in person? It would be my most prefer way of communication as I am overwhelm with too many responsibilities at the moment. I cannot miss a single evening of work, even if I use it for my city patrol duties as well. [Being hired to work as a security guard for a specific location has its perks especially when he can do that job while do his military duties all at once.]

I feel the same! We've got to do our part and be on top of what happens in the city, after all! What's the point of a City Patrol if we don't?

But not too many that our entire force is exhausted should something big happen, I think. After all, if trouble strikes, how useful will we be if we can't pitch in to help?

Of course. We don't want to overreach when we don't even know what exactly we're dealing with yet.

We'll have to figure out who can handle longer patrols, stuff like that. For example, I might need more breaks than some of the other people on the team.

That's fine! I don't see why anyone would object to that. Er, though, I'm not the one who makes the rules about this sort of thing, but still!

It's just something to be aware of. I'll be sure to bring it up at the actual meeting, too.

Any idea when that should be, by the way?

Keep in mind that people may have to shovel occasionally so as not to be snowed in if this keeps up.

But, certainly, a meeting would be a good idea. We'll have to sort out what to do at some point.

I have been walking about the city as well, and haven't seen much anything weird besides this cold front. Perhaps we should also get the emergency response team members on this as well?

If necessary of course.

I'm not on the City Patrol or anything, but I don't mind offering a hand where ever you need it.
