[In spite of the cold snap, Jane is seen out and about the Freyr District in this video. It's night, and she's wrapped up considerably against the snow, which has begun to slow for the time being. It floats in the light of the street lamp she's under, and she gives the feed a very serious look.]

I strongly advise anyone with no particular business to stay indoors tonight. Given the unusual shift in the weather, there's no telling what could happen next, so if it isn't an urgent matter or you're not part of the City Patrol, like myself, then you're much better off by the fireplace with a mug of hot cocoa.

[Her expression sours just a little bit. It'd be nice to heed her own advice, but, well. She signed up to patrol, and by gum she'll patrol.]

Um, that being said, I'd like to put a message out to the others in the City Patrol as well. I was wondering if, perhaps, we could get together and discuss some things, patrol routes and whatnot. I'd be happy to host it, if need be.

[A pause. Jane bites her lip; she wants to make this sound official and helpful and...is she even doing that? Aaaugh...]

Would you really call a climate change like this a calm, though?

Oh - if you wanted to! I wouldn't begrudge the company.

It’s definitely calmer than anything I have seen in the past. Usually they would just attack with no warning. But a climate change? [ He’s already getting his jacket on as they speak. ]

I’m not headed there right this second, I think Dirk would probably get pretty mad if I forgot to lock the apartment on the way out. I’ll probably be headed that way soon though. [ He has some of his own investigating he wishes to do, but you know. ]

Sorry Jane, I’m just trying not to think the worst, I guess. I know how serious this kind of stuff can get, and so do you.

[ He’s trying his best not to think this is all going to go downhill really fast. ]

[Of course, he can investigate where he pleases. She'll be around.]

No, I understand. Being positive is important. I just...can't help but worry.

Oh, yeah. I moved in with him. Maybe about two weeks ago? It is infinitely better than living alone and paying high rent.

[He's out looking around now. Jane is good talking company until he actually runs into her.]

Anyone could be worried at this point. It's right to be worried. But we can't lose our minds.

Oh, geez, that I can understand completely. Good for you two, then! I doubt you'll have a dull day.

[And then she'll be BETTER talking company!]

I know, I know...that's hard, too! It's easy to fall into hysterics. I promise I haven't, though!

There hasn't been a dull day yet, I can tell you that.

Everything is getting pretty hard. Eventually we'll have just gone nuts.
