[Several hours later, Fiona comes on the network again, this time sounding far more composed, comparatively.]

Hi! This is Fiona Gallagher, from the Albus Dumbledore Academy of Scho- Academy. [She clears her throat.] Yeah. We're undergoing a few, uh, management changes at the moment, and I wanna make sure our records are still consistent. If you're a teacher or a student, please check with me at the front lobby, or, uh, in this post here, so we can go over your records and resubmit anything that might've been lost in the shuffle, okay?

Aaand, we're always looking out for new students. Tuition is free, and open to all ages, so you can take any classes you want. If you're not big on math, but you like, uh, Egyptology, that's fine.

We're also hiring new teachers. Since the war and all, anybody with combat experience is welcome to teach classes on self defense and-... that kinda stuff. The more the merrier, right? [NERVOUS LAUGHTER.] But any teacher is, uh, welcome to apply.

And, y'know, anybody who's interested in donating to the school, uh... we can make... plaques? Yeah, sure, we'll make plaques. And we'll name a room after you.

[Someone's a bit frazzled. She sighs into the recording.] Okay, um, any questions, just ask! I'm here all day.

Soon as it's convenient. I'll have to talk to Jade about actually cutting my hours down, or leaving, but- getting that established is a little more important than baking, I figure.

[Fiona gets a small grin in return- sure, his job's been productive, but the more motivation the better. God knows he's been short on it lately.]

How about the day after tomorrow, 'round lunch? There's a cafe near the school, we can make a meal out of it.

Works for me- I should be done with whatever prep there is by then, so about noonish? I can skip off as long as I need, with things being a little more limited it's not like they really need me in the kitchen all the time.

Sounds good to me. I already know you're not, y'know, a murderer or whatever, so you don't gotta worry about references. I'll just ask you a few formality questions, really, and pass my notes onto someone else who gets to make the final decision. [AKA you've got her vote, Ryan.]

Thanks for the vote of confidence. [It's not sarcastic- just amused, almost with a hint of a laugh in his voice.] I'll see you then, yeah?

[He'll cut it off there, to get back to work and let Jade know he'll be skipping out early in a couple days... and of course Ryan will be there as agreed, early enough to have snagged a table. That gesture's probably meant to be a wave, but the way he tries to beckon her over at the same time makes it just look odd and confused.]
