I know that there is a lot unknown and unexplained. There are a lot of questions that we'd like the answers to. I'd rather focus on what is known.

[ Who wouldn't? But she's information collecting. Maybe get enough questions together and take them all to a god. Maybe ]

I'd like to know what your experience was like arriving here. From the amount of people that have mentioned feeling sick after arriving it's clear that something has changed. Is there anything specific that you remember? Has anyone reported similar experiences before?

[ The sickness. Drowning. Seeing the sight of burning cities... people. She's felt it all, remembers it. And now she's hearing things - cries, feeling emotion that she knows she isn't feeling herself. What is it? ]

Has anything out of the ordinary happened recently? Anything that could cause the change?

[ Out of the ordinary for war, anyway. She's been going over the information but there is a lot there. Any filling in would definitely be appreciated ]

It doesn't matter what it is, anything could be important.

I have only just arrived here, but I can safely say that it wasn't the most pleasant experience of my life.

[This from a man who was beaten and tortured, and who leapt off a two mile high cliff just before arriving here. The sense of unease, the emotions he'd felt on Z'ha'dum had nothing on what he'd felt since arrival, which in itself was terrifying. Destruction, voices, sickness.]

It felt like... well, like you would feel if you were drowning, I suppose. Pressure all around you, sensations like you couldn't breath, a disconnectedness with all around.

Most report the sickness rather than the drowning.

I imagine that everyone that has recently arrived experienced it.

What about memories? Ones that aren't your own.

As for what have changed, I'd say this world has. Of late it become more unstable; in other words, it's slowly dying.

It's all new, if that's what you're asking. Before when people arrived it was fairly seamless - they show up in the castle, are told the relevant information (Houses, powers, etc.) and then sent out into the city. Depending on what was going on in the city, they might have shown up in the midst of something, but nothing like what's been going on.

There's something happening in the city, something that hasn't happened before, and it's affecting a lot more of us than events like this used to. Detailing out everything will take longer than you have, or I have, because it involves a whole lot more than what most people know.

[ okay, that sounds ominous, but kate's referring more to an entire history of events. of things happenings, relationships with the gods. she's been in this city for over a year now and trying to 'explain your experience' is kind of a bigger question than she's willing to give out to someone she's never met. ]

I haven't been here for long, but I was one of the sick ones. Nausea, headache, overall soreness. It was the worst I've felt in a long time, honestly.

From my own set of notes, I do not make any mention of any odd occurrences after arriving to the city on D250. I met with the same maid, at the same castle, and was given the same items as the rest of those whom arrive to the city for the very first time.

[As for her questions over if anything out of the ordinary has happened, Soushi will simply offer a soft laughter that is almost inaudible.]

The city suffers from one unique occurrence after another especially as of late. They are the side effects of the war along with the sudden deep sleep the prime deity of this world has fallen into. I would not be surprise if the situation is unstable due to his sudden lack of his power. He might have been the center, keeping the city intact for as long as he have. [At the very least.] It's my current theory over the matter. My memories are still unreliable and I can only rely on my journal to fill in the missing pieces. [Then he grows quiet.] ...I apologize if I only repeated what most have informed you.

Out of whack is understating it. There's sickness. Unusual memories and sounds that come from nowhere.

I've been here just over a week. How long ago did you arrive?

When I arrived we were under siege. We were all trapped in the hall, surrounded by a coat of ice, just the new arrivals and the maids. No one really knew what was happening. There was adequate food and infrastructure, thank goodness, but the whole week was... intensely suffocating. I know we weren't going to run out of air, but it absolutely felt like we were.

I can't recall feeling ill when I arrived. I simply .. blinked while in the middle of applying my makeup in the morning and I was somewhere else. Here, to be more specific. At least, that's as far as I can remember.

( text seems safer since her appearance is .. rough, to say the least. she'd been wandering around her room for the last few days feeling as though she forgot something very important, without the slightest idea of what it may be. there was just an uncomfortable feeling of loss. )
