This is--something is wrong. I can't....I can't remember. And Anna, something is wrong with her too. She doesn't remember leaving Arendelle to bring me back. I don't remember why I left Arendelle in the first place. I know the trolls took her memory of my powers, but this....this is different.

[Sure. There are painful memories. But at the same time, Elsa doesn't mean to forget them. But use them as lessons. To learn from those mistakes. But how can she? When she can't recall making them, the reasons behind them? Losing her memory terrifies her. More worrying is Anna. That's what Elsa is more concerned about. Anna has already had her memories replaced before....

Taking a page from Joffrey's book and demanding, claiming authority where there is none doesn't seem to be the way to go. Elsa just wants to help her sister.]

I doubt this is just the two of us affected though. I don't suppose anyone else knows what is going on here, exactly? From what I can tell it's....our memories. I keep forgetting things. And then there are those....Well, I don't think they are ghosts? It seems they might be other travelers? Something to do with Hel and her power to bring us back being interfered with? I don't know. I am not sure if anyone could help Anna, but it worries me. I hope we can fix things. Soon.

What is a photograph?

A photograph is an real-life image recorded by a device called "camera", and reproduced on a paper-like object.

A camera....That's amazing! It's so much more...lifelike than the portraits in the castle back home in Arendelle. So it's sort of like these bracelets, but with a still image?

Even if you have your memories, to have a photograph makes it easier to remember and it feels like the person in them is closer to you, even if they are far away.

It does seem a lot more detailed and lifelike than the portraits in the castle. I like it. We don't have anything like that back home and have to sit for hours on end if we want a portrait done.

Because it capture a precise moment that has happened as it is, in just a second.

They are not hard to get by. This world has several kinds, even.

That's incredible! So much more convenient than sitting or standing for hours for a portrait. I can imagine something like that would be much more beneficial.

Really? I probably dismissed it since I had no idea about photographs or cameras.

It helps to keep the memory alive, at least. [ kaworu smiles gently ] And it helps keeping those you love close to you.
