Well, well, hello there. [There's a blindingly bright and charming smile aimed at the bracelet and it looks almost as if he's trying to flirt with it. Which he is, to be fair. Take it all in, ladies and gentlemen, that's Witch Weekly's Most Charming Smile you're now looking at. You lucky people. Seriously though, guys, one at a time please. We don't need another disaster.] Isn't this place a peculiar thing? Not in a bad way, of course, I have to say I'm rather impressed. It's got a certain quaint muggle-ish charm to it.
And really, it's so kind of you to invite me here for a stay but while I do appreciate your dedication and desire for my company, I can't say I'm eager to remain. It's not you, really! It's me. Like I said before, it's a rather lovely little oddity, this 'Azgard'. I just have other places to be. I'm sure you understand?
[It's all said in a light tone, trying to stay kind and flattering, though with a strange hint of sympathy. In fact, it kind of sounds like Gilderoy is attempting to gently break up with Asgard. But then, to be fair, one is reminded of a sad desperate ex that won't let him go -- he's sure he dated a girl a little like Asgard way back when actually. She tried to lock him in her house once...
Mock if you will, the similarities are all there. Thought at least she never tried to drown him in a biblical storm.]
Sometimes, we must all take different paths in life. And while I have loved my time here, I feel it's now time to move on. Lots to do, plenty to see. But I'm sure I can do something for you all before I leave. Perhaps sign your guest book? If you have one. I know that'd be a treat for the fans.
[He assumes he has fans here. He has them everywhere else, why not in a strange world of Norse Gods? If it doesn't then, well, that will have to change before he goes. Living in a world without Gilderoy Lockhart? You poor underprivileged people. How do you function?]
I do feel bad for not being able to assist in the war but without my wand, I'm afraid there's little I can do for you anyway. Maybe if you'd allow me to leave and return later by my own accord, I'd be a better asset. Just something to keep in mind, hmm? Yes. Good.

Cocky idiots are often easily manipulated and Hell forbids he'll let that opportunity pass ]
You can't leave, unfortunately. Nobody can. But there are some great news: you were given a power that you can certainly use to assist in the war.
video;
[The power thing? Yeah, he still didn't quite grasp that one. And he wasn't sure if he wanted to.]
I'd still much rather have my wand if I'm to be in a war.

Where exactly do you plan on going?...
[Because if there's a way out that Castle hasn't found yet, do share.]

[Hey now, being compared to Gilderoy is a great honour. You are a lucky man, you know?]
I feel I've served my purpose here.

[She's not on the gods' side. Hells, she's trying to decide if she had the chance, would she kill them.]

[If these Gods had some sort of offices or secretaries, they'd be getting some strong worded letters of condemnation.]

But it's only after some contemplation on the matter.]
It isn't a Muggle city. It's Asgard. I'd say the two are quite a bit different, really.

Also did everyone age super fast lately or did he miss out the part where Potter had an older brother? And maybe Longbottom too. Seemed improbable but so did this lightening fast ageing thing.]
Good lord, is that you Potter? My... you have grown up fast, haven't you? [There's a slight pause, the cheer in his tone is somewhat awkward and forced.] I don't know, it does have a vein of inspiration from those muggles.

All a bit of a nasty shock, isn't it? But there are plenty of ways lend your aid outside of spellwork, if you strike so inclined.
[ Fans, well, alright. Time to work up some flattery. ]
Why, I believe you'll find a number of citizens positively enthralled by your presence already. The gods may have brought you here not for your skill upon a battlefield, but rather having been impressed by your way with people. Your presence itself quite literally helps to return vibrancy and life to the natives of this world.
video;
[Oh Dumbledore, you always know the right things to say. His grin is totally beyond modesty at this point because thank merlin, someone finally remembered him that wasn't trying to blackmail him. A crowning moment for Lockhart.]
Well, I am a rather impressive man. I can't say I'm shocked and, you know, I suppose I do owe the people a little bit of my time. Perhaps a few signings before I dash off?
[He couldn't find any of his books in the stores he'd browsed early... maybe he could sort that little issue out before he fled.] I guess I can't hold it against them for wanting me.

[Alice has her pet dragon, Marigold in her lap while a gryphon glances over her shoulder, they're having a tea party at the moment.]

Me? Why I'm Gilderoy Lockhart. Surely you've heard of me? Order of Merlin, Third Class and Honorary Member of the Dark Force Defence League.

[Yeaaaaah he'd never come back ever. But lying seems the better option here than brutal honesty.]

But you would be a great help in the war, Mister Lockhart, even without your wand! Your bravery and kindness would be an inspiration to all of us!

Oh come now, Merope! I'm quite aware of what an asset I would be but I don't feel like this is entirely my fight. It's pretty darn well rude to take a side without being asked to. And I do find it problematic when I'm not entirely sure I'm doing the right thing. A heroes greatest weapon is his morality.

I know, exactly, I'm in the same mind too. Trapping people here is simply below par, Malfoy. Certainly not a gentlemenly way to recruit for a war.
