bestestfurrend: (thinking up a new scene)

video;

[Nepeta and Lilly are standing out in front of Freya's Welcome Hall, looking a bit tired out but - in Nepeta's case at least - very satisfied at a job well done.

There are crudely-drawn posters stuck not-quite-straight on the walls behind them, some of them depicting a blond little girl and the others a woman with masses of dark hair.

They've just finished sticking them in front of not only their god house, but every single one in Asgard, along with placing them on random walls along the way, so it's very likely that some Travelers have already run across them.

Yes, it took a while.]

Ahem. Attention efurrybody purrlease! This is really impurrtant!

These are Lilly's Mama and her sister Victoria.

[She points at the posters behind them.]

We don't know if they're here and we don't think they are yet, but if anyone sees them or meets them if they arrive, let them know Lilly is waiting for them! She'll be here at Freya house, okay?

Thank you!

((ooc: responses may come from either or both of them!))

They appear to prefer it, yes. [He almost makes a comment about how it justifies Sollux's attitude that they're lesser creatures, one shared by a few of their kind. He remembers, though, that it is something he's supposed to be working on.]

Regardless, I think I can keep an eye out for this person's lus...mother.

[He still relapsed. A lot. It was an old habit he simply couldn't break. They were lesser species, but he'd convinced himself to work with them, and recognized flaws in his own. He considered this an improvement.]

I think you know which of those two matters to me most, but a companion of yours is, I believe, a companion of mine.

We should find her mother quickly in that case. She is still quite young by her species' standards, after all.

Ah, she is in Freya? Yes. Your house tends to have the protective sorts, does it not? I expect she will not lack for protection even beyond yourself.

My expectation is that this is related to the maternal and amorous instincts common to Freya. You're natural protectors, which makes it unfortunate that the power you are granted isn't quite so helpful in actual combat.

I am well aware of that. I think, however, that some of your fellows are a bit less capable of this, which is unfortunate for them. To have the will but not the ability.

There are. I just wish that they would be able to protect them as they would prefer. It would be good if they could do that, would it not?

Well, I will not question their devotion. I've seen little reason to doubt it... Perhaps self defense courses might be valuable... Too many ideas, too little time.

Hmmmph. In the end, you are right. I cannot personally accomplish everything at once. I only have four limbs after all.
