[ You can't quite avoid that face. You can miss it, certainly that. She had her fair share of missing her short childhood encounter. Loads of trouble for it. Judgements.

But that's faith for you. Amelia Pond can be faithful. She can be trusting. All that can be neatly folded and placed where it seems fit. Almost natural when you find someone like the Doctor. Trips out of a mad box and that's just fine.

She just knew.

Not many people say Amelia Pond without it sounding wrong in the ears. It muffles. Not even her name. She's just Amy. But that voice. That loud, booming voice and she can just feel that grin. It's so bright. It's the Doctor's grin. ]

Ahaha, oh, she just hovers there. They are reuniting over a screen. Again. Is this how it's going to be? Again and again? ]

[ Bit of a stupid echo, but his words seem to spill onto her mind too quickly, flooding her sense of direction; need to move. God, her hands just oddly fumble together, clasping together as she is smile so wide. Too wide, it hurts just a bit.

She suddenly remembers to reply: ]

Ah, hm, no, no. Freyr. Not too far. I'm here.

[ Suddenly she's very still. Her stillness. She's waiting. Always caught waiting. Purposely waiting. ]

I'm here.

Good. Good. Stay right there.

[ He points both fingers at the screen. Says it even if he knows she'll stay put. And then he turns the recording off, and runs. Doesn't stop, doesn't slow down, not even when he finally spots her down the street. No, he keeps running, and unless she moves out of the way for some reason, he'll crash into her and wrap her up in a tight hug with a momentum that takes them both for a spin. ]

[ It's nice, isn't it?

Seemingly all at once she recalls this. She can't quite put her finger on it either. She's reaching for the Doctor, sees her arms reach out in her mind, but she blinks and she realizes her arms haven't moved at all. Time bends around her. Seemingly slows and picks up into an impossible pace. She sees her past few adventures, those few times she was the one running for him. Scares and death.

Then silence.

She swallows. This all runs through her in one quick moment. She doesn't move out of the way because she can't. The Doctor may be running for her, but she doesn't plan letting go once she has him. She's here, but there's that to worry about. The future and how it's been settled. It's a set place and she still hasn't met it.

The embrace is just as tight back, swallows a need to sob, a light and small one that's smothered by her smile. It's covered and pampered away. She's happy, she's alright. So is he. Everything is still alright here.

And the embrace actually has to end. A spin and that slight dizziness straightens. She steps back to actually look at him. ]

Treating you well, I see. [ This place. Still looking together and in one piece, Doctor. ]

[ He's laughing. Laughing like he's never been so happy because this time it's not a hallucination, an echo of the past in a TARDIS that can bring back what it likes, or his own regenerating mind playing tricks on him. This time she's real, flesh and blood and firm in his arms and he laughs because he thinks he could fly.

The grin couldn't disappear from his face even if he tried to make it. He cups her cheeks, strokes his thumbs over them, and leans forward to kiss her forehead. It's been centuries since he saw her last and he's crying at this point. A few tears of joy drip slowly down his cheeks. ]
