Normally I'd do some long talk about hey, I'm so and so and this is what I have to say. I'll make this quick because I'm a bit. [He angles his bracelet to the storm spirits outside the window racing down the street. One can catch a glimpse of the specialized web of wooden plates he's putting together as fast as he can.]

Busy. We're going to have to improvise because we don't have the right metal to make weapons to take the storm spirits out. [He fits rings into place and locks more wooden plates into his contraption. It's not going to hold wind spirits for long but it's better than nothing.] There's probably a variety of ways to slow them down.

Anything conductive is not going to be the best idea. Unless you like feeling like you're in a microwave.

[He picks up the edge of his trap and shakes it.] Uh, anyway. They might look like people and you think you can reason with them. Dude, don't waste your breath and steer clear of the horse shaped ones.

But, lot of you are going to fight them so. Stick to wood and anything that won't conduct well and don't, don't let them touch you.

[He has so many jokes he's held back. It's terrible being Leo Valdez when he can't joke.] They like to switch forms from human looking to not. We might be lucky that there's just these guys and not their boss around.

They're not tangible enough to chop in half without special weapons that we don't have. Normally they like only one kind of people to harass but they're being equal opportunity.

They can do anything the winds does and can control it. Biggest thing to worry about is when more than one gang up on you. They can spin even greater storms. It looks like they're just one of the winds, which could be good.

Could be really bad. Too early for me to tell yet.

If it was a type of arrow that released an net that could seal up airtight, that could possibly work if you ambushed one. But a cannon would be better. [He sounds vaguely distracted at the end, taking a piece of paper out to loosely sketch something.]

If the weapon is made of wood can I kill them like any other? [ he clarifies ]

That's the tricky part. They're the wind, given a shape and a form to wreck havoc with but with their own consciousnesses. [It's bad news all over.]

Will a wood weapon actually hurt it, and have you tried a lightning rod? Something to conduct their electricity into the ground.

I just don't get why of all things, storm spirits are what fell through. Why not Pegasi? I'd even take the farting pole cat over these guys.

[He lays out some paper and starts sketching a lightning rod.]

Didn't think of that. Installing a few could buy people some time.

Shadows could at least distract them. It would be a fight between two intangible forces.

[He brightens a bit compared to the others. He remembers her.] My grand plan this time is to trap a bunch of them. If we can get them all, we can bundle them up and drop the whole lot on the frost queen and her forces. Or her flaming cousin.

Sorta, you're making them take the time to deal with some wooden thing in the midst and if you hit hard enough you might able to stun them.

This is a partly made trap. Not going to make them go away but they're really not going to like it.

Once they figure out what I'm doing things will be fun. [He's clearly being sarcastic at the end.]
