Normally I'd do some long talk about hey, I'm so and so and this is what I have to say. I'll make this quick because I'm a bit. [He angles his bracelet to the storm spirits outside the window racing down the street. One can catch a glimpse of the specialized web of wooden plates he's putting together as fast as he can.]

Busy. We're going to have to improvise because we don't have the right metal to make weapons to take the storm spirits out. [He fits rings into place and locks more wooden plates into his contraption. It's not going to hold wind spirits for long but it's better than nothing.] There's probably a variety of ways to slow them down.

Anything conductive is not going to be the best idea. Unless you like feeling like you're in a microwave.

[He picks up the edge of his trap and shakes it.] Uh, anyway. They might look like people and you think you can reason with them. Dude, don't waste your breath and steer clear of the horse shaped ones.

But, lot of you are going to fight them so. Stick to wood and anything that won't conduct well and don't, don't let them touch you.

That's a really good question I'm going to wonder about later. Build time now, think time later. [He taps his rig with the back of his hand.] It sucks neither of us are level three. We could really use that right now.

[He has so many jokes he's held back. It's terrible being Leo Valdez when he can't joke.] They like to switch forms from human looking to not. We might be lucky that there's just these guys and not their boss around.

They're not tangible enough to chop in half without special weapons that we don't have. Normally they like only one kind of people to harass but they're being equal opportunity.

They can do anything the winds does and can control it. Biggest thing to worry about is when more than one gang up on you. They can spin even greater storms. It looks like they're just one of the winds, which could be good.

Could be really bad. Too early for me to tell yet.

Yeah, don't waste your arrows. They're just going to laugh at you or whip them right back in your face all, 'surprise'.

If it was a type of arrow that released an net that could seal up airtight, that could possibly work if you ambushed one. But a cannon would be better. [He sounds vaguely distracted at the end, taking a piece of paper out to loosely sketch something.]

Yeah, but can they open doors?

[One finger gets held up before Leo puts it back down and visibly thinks that over. Had they ever?

Don't quote me on it, but I don't think so. Any time they met with a solid object, or a net that didn't let them escape, they weren't going anywhere.

That's the tricky part. They're the wind, given a shape and a form to wreck havoc with but with their own consciousnesses. [It's bad news all over.]

Don't know what that word means but both are! I'm not saying they can't be killed, it's we have to find out a new way or trap them. Either way, there's going to be a lot of risk involved.

We're not helpless without the usual tools. We just need to think of the House powers and what they can do.

[He jotes down a few notes and double checks his in-progress special net he plans to put to use as soon as he can.]

I got drawing life but it's not high enough to draw anything that isn't 'real' in this world. Sucks. ...no idea if they can be influenced. We didn't have time to test that that I can remember. Could be worth a shot.

Master Leo, well met. [ he bows a little ] Maglor, at your service. At the least I suppose you might draw things to attract their attention?

As for my own ability, I mind not finding out. [ He'll just have to remember he can't actually use Songs of Power here when he finds a target ]

[There's a snarl, and she's nursing her arm as she growls into the feed.]

Yeah, metal weapons. Bad idea. I caught that. So something else from one of our worlds came here. [She grunted and continued to wind a poultice around her hand.]

Will a wood weapon actually hurt it, and have you tried a lightning rod? Something to conduct their electricity into the ground.

I just don't get why of all things, storm spirits are what fell through. Why not Pegasi? I'd even take the farting pole cat over these guys.

[He lays out some paper and starts sketching a lightning rod.]

Didn't think of that. Installing a few could buy people some time.

Shadows could at least distract them. It would be a fight between two intangible forces.

[He brightens a bit compared to the others. He remembers her.] My grand plan this time is to trap a bunch of them. If we can get them all, we can bundle them up and drop the whole lot on the frost queen and her forces. Or her flaming cousin.

Sorta, you're making them take the time to deal with some wooden thing in the midst and if you hit hard enough you might able to stun them.
