Video/Action

[Nepeta stands behind a brightly decorated stall in one of the main areas of Freyr, looking bright and chipper and even more excited than usual.

"Black and Blue" is the name announced across the front of the stall, with lots of not-completely-professionally drawn pictures of the services offered at Equius’ and her shop.

She has a smile on her face as she cheerfully accosts passers-by, offering them a tray of cupcakes, and she seems to have enlisted Aurthour to do the same, while Pounce carries an open bag of sweets in her mouth to draw people in.

Nepeta and Pounce both have a cute black and blue ribbon tied above one ear, and Aurthour seems to have acquired the same as a bowtie. Oh! And it looks like a certain glowering moirail of Nepeta’s has been talked into wearing the same as he presides behind the stall.]

Come visit us at Black and Blue! The best service station in Asgard!

[The only one, actually, but shh. She’s having too much fun with this.]

You humans have unecessarily large numbers of names to refer to just one thing, and I will not indulge in numbers. It would end poorly.

Much of it is in part because of regional differences. And I'm not even accounting for the worlds I do not know, as well as the numerous languages.

Yes, well, we will likely stick to the current title. Too many possibilities, and I've found that informing people that we sell teh liquified remains of compressed animal corpses after refinement seems to ... put them off.

There is quite a separation from "service station" and "the liquefied remains of compressed animal corpses after refinement."

Well, I don't actually refer to it as that entire listing every time. It would be cumbersome. I simply do not like the term gasoline.

Ah, then you prefer to stick with vagueries because you do not like the utilization of language. Of course.

Vagueries? I would not say that my way of referring to the fluid is vague. People are simply not concerned with discussing its actual substance regularly, so they don't think of it in that way.

It has been labeled. While you can dismiss the labels, they do have their uses. Especially here, now that we are pointlessly arguing over the matter.

Hmmmph. Discounting one culture's method of labelling in favor of ano...

huh... well, I suppose I am doing the same... but that might require multiple labels. Hmmmm.

We are arguing.

[He's very blunt about it.]

Were we? Well, I suppose that it is an argument of sorts. [He scratched his head.] Though, really I see little purpose in extending it needlessly.

Then let's end it here. I've already convinced Nepeta, so there is little point in discussing this further.
