[Irving is looking irritated, even though he's settled down for a rest with a nice cup of tea and some of that cake River had earlier.] Thank you, Random Ominous Voice, for taking the time to inform me that 'It won't stop' and 'This is just the beginning', as if I was assuming otherwise.
It wasn't as if I had other things to do than deal with an insistent mantra that isn't actually helpful.
Next time, if you can hear me, do try to use sky-writing or something? It's much less invasive. [Well, it was worth a try. Rubbing his temple, he turns off.]

If someone was trying to make a situation while grave, even graver, by pseudo predictions and invasions of the mind, expecting a grateful or cheerful attitude is expecting a bit much. I don't appreciate fear mongering. And make no mistake: if this informer isn't by intention, certainly someone will find it easier to do so because of their action.

I believe the message all right. For one, we've already been told that this world is going to try its very best to end and the panicked actions of the Giants are message enough that something, shall we say, dramatic, is due to occur. So, why bother telling us what we know in such an invasive way? It's like someone slipping into your room, writing such a message on your arm or something and vanishing without you knowing who they were, much less seeking permission for such an act. And you wouldn't even be any wiser for it.
