[the video starts up to show a short-haired girl, looking curiously right at the viewer—from her perspective, she's just checking out and poking at her bracelet. after bringing her arm up and down to inspect it from different angles, she finally settles on a comfortable and more natural position.]

So, uh... I guess this thing is on now? People can see this, right?

[she waves her hand at the screen and gives a smile... before realizing that, right, she's not exactly broadcasting live. with a small chuckle, she scratches the back of her neck, then continues.]

...Right, you guys can't respond until I finish this. Whoops! Anyway, uh, the name's Chie—Chie Satonaka! If it wasn't obvious, I pretty much just got here, and I'm still kinda confused about... well, everything. The girl that brought me here didn't exactly explain much, and I kinda figured that asking other people that were brought here would be a lot more helpful in the long run. So, yeah! I'm not really picky; any tips for a newcomer like me would be awesome. Buuut I guess if I had to be specific... is there any place to get some cheap, decent food around here? I'm starving, and I could seriously go for some steak right now.

[she laughs again as she's about to go, but right before she goes to end the feed, she remembers one more thing.]

Oh, and if you've ever met or run into anybody from a place in Japan called Inaba, would you mind telling them that I'm looking for them? Thanks a bunch!

[He doesn't seem to really mind; he's just happy she's here! He smiles and waves brightly, and then, in response to her question, shakes his head.

The screen from the bracelet's still up in front of him, mind; it's a lot easier for him, though it looks a little awkward. If she can wait, he'll tap out a reply to her, which she should recieve momentarily...]

[she tilts her head a little in confusion as her bracelet notifies her of the message, before remembering... oh yeah. she almost smacks herself on the forehead as she quickly types back.]

[Her concern has him so glad though. Like even with the mild inconvenience he just looks so happy. This is awesome and they haven't even done anything yet.]

[she offers him another soft smile after she peeks at his reply. she'd love to keep going like they're doing so right now, but she isn't exactly adept at typing and walking at the same time.]

[Fortunately, he is. Well, okay, he'd rather be writing, but typing isn't so bad.]

[Any thoughts that that smile might be passive-aggressive or him being bitchy is pretty well ruined by the fact that he's smiling in person too. It's probably not really necessary to type that, but askjdflsjadk he... really likes how concerned she is about this!

[she grins at the reciprocated gesture! APPROVAL, RION, YOU HAVE IT.]

And, uh... that's a good question. I guess we could just... wander around? I didn't really think about that.

[she's feeling a bit bad herself, but she certainly perks up when she sees his suggestion.]

[her turn to lead, huh? well... SCREW IT, field trip! going back to Freya would give her more time to spend hanging out with him, after all.]

He's more than happy to walk with her, thankfully not in a single file line wherever she goes like some sort of RPG character. He will, however, type while he goes - he's found a way to do so.]

[He doesn't feel too awkward saying that. After all, she's strong (or looks kinda strong), smart, nice, and funny. Or he's just arbitrarily deciding things about her based on a good first impression.]

[when she sees his question, she's initially flustered for a bit. geez, talk about wanting to be modest! she's quickly sobering back up and grinning, though the sheepishness is still showing a little.]
