Okay, first of all! Everyone who is new, hi! My name is Jade, and welcome to Asgard, and make sure to let someone know if you need something! I can be helpful - I've been here practically forever now.

Secondly, I am going to need everyone to stop dying, thank you very much.

Thirdly - and this one kind of goes back to the second point, here - if you don't know how to use a weapon, you need to learn how to use a weapon. [ The frown on her face grows a little more severe. ] We are at war, and we can't always rely on our powers! Because some of them kind of suck - no offense, Harry - and when we're attacked, they're not gonna care if you're able to make a giant fireball or if you can just float half a foot off the ground.

[ Her expression is very decidedly stubborn. ]

I can teach you how to shoot a gun. I want to teach you how to shoot a gun! If you can't fight? Please let me teach you how to shoot a gun so you don't die, okay? Between here and home I've died like four times [ five, she's just unaware of that last one right now ] and I am getting sort of sick of it. Let me help!

[ Jade leans forward, as if to end the video, before she wrinkles her nose and adds - ]

Guns, huh? I can also offer to teach how to use one if people want or need it. Time like this, people need to be able to defend themselves. Especially after those Gentlemen frakkers.

Well, if anyone needs to learn, I can try help teach them. So long as they aim at the target and not me. As for those...I have no frakking idea. Never seen anything like that before. Lot of weird and crazy shit around here though.

What kind of guns d'you have the most experience with? I figure it's probably good if we have a pretty broad array of experience.

I'm military so I'm used to a range of guns, really. But pistols, handguns mostly. Though I can use others as well.

Military? [ Jade's ears perk a little at that. ] Cool. They taught all you that there?

Of course. Basic training. I had to learn all that even as a pilot. So I'd be able to defend myself if things went south regardless of where I was.

What did you pilot?

A viper. Which is a sort of fighter plane thing? A lot of people don't really seem to get it when I try to explain it to them here though.

Glad you seem excited about the idea. I guess some others are from such a different world or time that the idea of flying and such is kind of crazy to them.

You had jets, but not computers?

We had computers. Just not networked or connected in case the Cylons hacked us and gave us a virus.

Jeez.. I think I would've died without the internet growing up.

We had a lot of things. But that was before the Cylons attacked. After that things like a network didn't seem important. We can still communicate throughout the fleet. Just not in that way.

Is that just with other people who do the sort of thing that you do?

Well, it's not just the military if that's what you're asking. It's the entire fleet. All that is left of humanity is still...anxious and wary with the Cylons and all.

Jeez. I hope it's something that can be fixed. Or -- won, I guess, at least.

I think we all do. But I guess time will tell.
