♔ 001 『 ACTION / VIDEO 』 『DAY 349』
『 ACTION - AROUND 』
[ It's been about a day since Naegi has been revived from... well, being dead. Honestly, he still can't believe it himself. It kind of felt like a dream, a really bad nightmare where you experience every single bit of pain and it feels way too real, but he knows better than that. He can see the large bloodstains in his room, the signs of struggle before he was pinned down, and not to mention the blood all over his bedclothes... Either he's still in that nightmare, or everything has happened for real, and he's believing the latter. ]
[ It's all pretty hard to swallow, to think that he actually died and that's he's now alive. He sometimes has to put his hand up to his chest, to feel his heart beating and to know that it's still there, not ripped out and in the hands of whatever the hell those monster things were. He supposes that's one of the Gods' powers, to bring people back from the dead and frankly, he's quite relieved about that. Still... he also wishes they also had the powers to erase his memories and experience of that night, of the excruciating pain and terror he felt, but just being alive is good enough. ]
[ People may find him wandering on his way back from the Gladsheim Palace, wandering around the Sigyn District to get back to his Welcome Hall, or in the Sigyn Welcome Hall itself, on his way back to his room. During this time, he'll still be wearing his bloody bedclothes (of a plain t-shirt and sweat pants...). During later in the day, after the video entry below, you may find him wandering just all over the place, looking for jobs. Feel free to bother him from his... well-than-cheerful self. Even if he's known for his optimism, getting over that death is going to be a bit harder than other situations. ]
『 VIDEO 』
[ The video starts and Naegi's back into his usual outfit with that damn hoodie he seems to never take off. He just awkwardly looks at the camera. ]
Uh, hi, I'm Makoto Naegi.
[ He just feels like he should introduce himself since this is his first entry to the network. That and, well... he has another reason for that, which will come soon in this entry. For those with good memories, they might recognize his name from being the first victim, but who cares about that, here's a question! ]
I'm just wondering if anyone know how to get stains out of a carpet?
[ He'll purposely leave out what this stain is, at least until someone asks. That is, if he doesn't really dodge around the question. ]
I think someone tried cleaning the stain before, but there's still a lot left and it's all dried up now. I've tried a rag with water, but... that didn't really work too well. So, any suggestions would be great, since I don't really want to cut this carpet piece out...
[ Who knew that getting a dried giant puddle of blood out of a carpet would be this hard? ]
Oh, and is anyone also offering any jobs? Or know a place that's hiring?
[ See, that's the main reason why he also introduced himself. He has figured that he should give his name if he's asking people for a job. ]
Thanks in advance.
[ And there's the end of the feed! ]

If... If you want, I can try to help you find cleaning supplies.
[She's sorry. She's so, so sorry.]

[ Oh no, Hibiki, don't be sad... Naegi doesn't really know that his death was broadcasted out to the network, but the two of them live in the same Welcome Hall, on the same floor at that. He can tell just from her voice that she probably knew that he kicked the bucket... ]
[ He gives a nod and a small smile. He's fine, see. No need to still be sad. ]
Yeah, that'll be great. I would like that.
I don't... know much about cleaning things like that, but... I know a store where we can find things.

[There is a small hint of worry on her face. It fades just as quick as it came. He's alive....]
[private video]
Kirigiri-san...
[ He struggles to find the proper words. This isn't like the time he nearly died on her. He actually died, so give him a second. ]
Um, looks like I'm back. I'm sorry if I worried you.
[private video]
...She's hesitating.]
Naegi-kun, what a strange phenomenon. You died. You were dead.

[Getting straight to the point. Though she's kind of reluctant to hear the answer, now that she's seen the other replies he's gotten already. What the heck happened while they were gone?]

Uh, well, just... really annoying stains?

There are different manners to remove a stain.
If it is a stain formed by liquid beverages, jelly, ice cream, excrement, food dyes, mud, and paint can be removed with a simple cleaning solution mixed with white vinegar. More complex stains such as chocolate, wine, coffee, mustard, vomit, or blood, then you mix the cleaning solution with ammonia and water. It should remove it after cleaning the same spot a few times if you are unable to wash it in a washing machine.
To remove a stain without the use of a washing machine, simply blot the spot and dry working from the outside in, rinse thoroughly with clean water, then blot again. Never scrub the carpet, or you risk ruining the carpet fibers or letting the spill soak through to the carpet pad.
[He is entirely certain the other individual only wished to know over removing blood, but he will be pretend it is not the case as he adds:]
Those are usually the least complex stains. If you have a more difficult stain such as candle wax, urine, glue, and so on, then do let me know to offer the correct solution to help clean your carpet.

Wow. This is really helpful. Thanks a lot for it!
Just those are fine, you don't have to type out more, but these will work on stains even if they're days old, right?

[He didn't do a lot of cleaning himself, but he can try to help. Try to do something to get his mind off of Minato's disappearance and the attacks that seemed to have occurred while he was gone.]

Is the kind of stain it is important?

I-I know. It's kind of confusing, but I guess the Gods here can bring people back to life after they die here.

Yeah, looks like I'm back, but I'm really sorry if I worried you, Ninian-san.
[ He doesn't know that she was the one who discovered his body, or even made an announcement to the network about it, but he figures that she knows by just her response and the fact that they both live in the Sigyn Welcome Hall. ]

...What happened, anyway? [He means, how did you die.] You sure you're okay?

[ And in a day, he actually does get a job there. Aw yeah, nice to be server coworkers with you, Akihiko. ]
But yeah, I'm okay... Just a few stains, nothing big.
[ He still doesn't know that his death was broadcasted over the network like that, so he figures that Akihiko is just asking what happened about the stains, which he can probably figure up some reason for (though, spoilers: he's not a very good liar). ]
