[When the video clicks on, Finnick is in the middle of the livingroom and around him is every color of net imaginable. Some are thick, some are thin, some are neon, some are pastel and some are normal color, but not very many. Someone has been busy.]

I don't suppose anyone needs a net? I was just making them while I was thinking and then it got sort of out of hand.

Also if you knew Annie Cresta, she's gone home to be with our son Alexander, so she isn't here anymore. With that, we are lacking severely in people to work at The Safehouse so if you need a job, let me know and I'll put you to work.

We need lots of help in the kitchen and with customers.

[He fiddles with the corner of the net he's working on and puts it down taking a deep breath.]

I need to get out of the house, anyone want to go out? After everything everyone has been through it couldn't hurt to have a little fun, right?

Probably because I'm not a teenager.

[He smiles and leans forward.]

I'm twenty four, so I just like to know the age of the people I go around with.

Heh, they'd still let you in. But if you want the harder stuff, you're better off hitting a bar.

[He shrugs casually, but then grins with light teasing intent.]

Is a teenager too young for ya?

Is that an offer to take me to your place of work?

[He laughs and shakes his head.]

I live with teenagers, I think I can handle having a few more teenage friends.

If you ever wanna check it out, why not? They're only open during those nights I mentioned, but it's a good way to get exercise and have fun. And you can make new friends too, if you want.

I'm enrolled in the university already, back home. So I won't act like a high school kid, if that's what you're worried about.

I'm not really worried about your age, I just was curious really. After all if we were talking about school, I didn't really go to school at all back in my world.

It's all right, man. I just know that different countries have their own idea of when kids turn into adults. It's 18 for some countries - 20 for ours.

Really? Did you start working young or something?

Yeah, I think you would be really surprised how different our world and country is from yours.

Well, not everyone needs an education to get far in life. [Thinking of his best friend, who hated school and used to ditch all the time...] Street smarts count for a lot. I have a friend who could use more of that...

Still a little different from my world, but we can swap stories later.

Sure! We can do that when we meet up. Take your mind off of things for a while.

...Though if you wanna talk about it, I can hear you out.

It's a little depressing, just warning you. Normally people don't look at us the same after the hear about our world.

Don't worry about that, man. I can handle it. I won't think any less of ya.

[Not like his world is filled with rainbows either. He isn't sure if Finnick would believe him, though, if he tried to explain about the Shadows.]

It's nice to hear that.

[He smiles and shakes his head.]

So if we are going out, what would you like to do?

[He pauses for a moment in thought.]

I usually train or go running when I'm out. Or grab a bite somewhere. I was gonna try swimming in the lake, before it got... uh, kinda weird with that whole swearing thing.

I'm pretty open to suggestions. What do you feel like, Finnick?

Train? What do you train in?

Fighting, of course! I practice my ability whenever I get a chance! I've gotta get stronger before the big match takes place, right?

Hand to hand, huh? What power did you get when you were brought here?

[He lifts a clenched fist and nods enthusiastically.] I've been on the boxing team since middle school.

I got enhanced strength. [And he looks so happy about that.] I still have to figure out how to hone it better. What about you?

Oh? That sounds like it would have been a lot of fun. I had to learn how to use my fists on my own, but I feel like I'm pretty good at it.

[He pauses for a moment.]

As for my power? Body control.

Really? Do ya wanna spar sometime? Maybe you can teach me a thing or two.

[He doesn't look fazed or bothered by that at all.] Ah, so you're in Hel too. [Interestingly enough, he knows quite a few people from that household.] Looks like I'll have to learn how to resist that ability...

You would probably do better than me anyway. But, yeah I need to get back into fighting shape.

[He blinks when the other calls out his house. His lips turn upward.]

Yeah, well I don't know how to use the power yet. I probably should learn, but I just don't like it.

[Akihiko shrugs and answers modestly.] All right, then we can learn from each other.

[His eyes widen with surprise at hearing that.] You haven't tried it yet? Not even once? You really should, you know. You'll be worse off using it for the first time, if you're not prepared.

Hopefully I'll never have to use it. I don't want to control someone's body.

[Not when he knows how terrible it can be to someone to be controlled.]

But, people keep telling me I need to learn to use it. Maybe I'll start thinking about it a little more.

[He doesn't want to sound cruel or insensitive, but he has to be factual about this.]

I get why you don't like it, but... we're in a war, Finnick. It might save your life, or someone else's, one day. Try not to look at it like a bad thing. You're not running around abusing your power.

That's why I fight to protect those from panem with my hands, and not with a power.

[He pauses for a second.]

I guess you're right though. I'll consider it.
