[When the video clicks on, Finnick is in the middle of the livingroom and around him is every color of net imaginable. Some are thick, some are thin, some are neon, some are pastel and some are normal color, but not very many. Someone has been busy.]

I don't suppose anyone needs a net? I was just making them while I was thinking and then it got sort of out of hand.

Also if you knew Annie Cresta, she's gone home to be with our son Alexander, so she isn't here anymore. With that, we are lacking severely in people to work at The Safehouse so if you need a job, let me know and I'll put you to work.

We need lots of help in the kitchen and with customers.

[He fiddles with the corner of the net he's working on and puts it down taking a deep breath.]

I need to get out of the house, anyone want to go out? After everything everyone has been through it couldn't hurt to have a little fun, right?

Train? What do you train in?

Fighting, of course! I practice my ability whenever I get a chance! I've gotta get stronger before the big match takes place, right?

Hand to hand, huh? What power did you get when you were brought here?

[He lifts a clenched fist and nods enthusiastically.] I've been on the boxing team since middle school.

I got enhanced strength. [And he looks so happy about that.] I still have to figure out how to hone it better. What about you?

Oh? That sounds like it would have been a lot of fun. I had to learn how to use my fists on my own, but I feel like I'm pretty good at it.

[He pauses for a moment.]

As for my power? Body control.

Really? Do ya wanna spar sometime? Maybe you can teach me a thing or two.

[He doesn't look fazed or bothered by that at all.] Ah, so you're in Hel too. [Interestingly enough, he knows quite a few people from that household.] Looks like I'll have to learn how to resist that ability...

You would probably do better than me anyway. But, yeah I need to get back into fighting shape.

[He blinks when the other calls out his house. His lips turn upward.]

Yeah, well I don't know how to use the power yet. I probably should learn, but I just don't like it.

[Akihiko shrugs and answers modestly.] All right, then we can learn from each other.

[His eyes widen with surprise at hearing that.] You haven't tried it yet? Not even once? You really should, you know. You'll be worse off using it for the first time, if you're not prepared.

Hopefully I'll never have to use it. I don't want to control someone's body.

[Not when he knows how terrible it can be to someone to be controlled.]

But, people keep telling me I need to learn to use it. Maybe I'll start thinking about it a little more.

[He doesn't want to sound cruel or insensitive, but he has to be factual about this.]

I get why you don't like it, but... we're in a war, Finnick. It might save your life, or someone else's, one day. Try not to look at it like a bad thing. You're not running around abusing your power.

That's why I fight to protect those from panem with my hands, and not with a power.

[He pauses for a second.]

I guess you're right though. I'll consider it.

Well... I'm not gonna force you. I don't like feeling helpless, so I'm gonna use my power to the fullest.

[Returning to their original conversation...]

So, do you wanna get out and do something? Or set up an interview? You'll have to show me the ropes before I can start working for ya.

That's true, we can set up an interview some other time. For now though, I'd rather go out and do something even if I'm not quite sure what to do yet.

Doing something physical might help take some stress out of ya. If it was muscle pain, I could be more hands-on about it.

People at Stride drink and dance. That seems to work for 'em.

Aren't I too old to go there?

[Teasing him once again.]

Hey, I'm the bouncer. I could put in a good word for ya. Roxy's pretty cool about these things.

You don't have to go, though. There's plenty of other places around.

[He doesn't really worry about the other or being too old.]

I wouldn't mind giving it a try.
