[Alice is beaming proudly as she looks at the bracelet. The more observant will notice a slight scratch on her cheek and nose. Nonetheless, she looks very pleased with herself.]

It took me all day but I did it! I did it I did it! [She's bouncing.]

I made myself a pet! Oh but not any sort of pet! No no, I made Marigold!

Would you all like to meet him? I thought it would be a much nicer topic than the gloomy sorts people have been commenting on. [Because dead people? No, thank you. She has had enough of all of that.]

You'll love it, Miss River. Gardening is very calming and the flowers love a new home.

They will. [She seems to get excited by the idea. I can't wait to help.

Do you have a favorite flower, Miss River? We can plant them in the garden, call it "River's corner."

[She shakes her head.] Maybe we can plant all kinds and I'll find one.

A splendid idea! [She wonders if the Doctors are allergic... she hopes not.] My favorite is the stargazer lily. Have you ever seen it?

Again she shakes her head but she seems curious now.] It sounds pretty, like broken off lyrics.

Broken off lyrics? What does that mean?

A song that's not finished.

A stargazer lily that's a song that isn't finished. That's rather pretty, Miss River. You should write poetry.

[littlesoul]

[She laughs a little] I'm a better dancer. Make poems with my body rather than my words.

[madcuriosity]

I can't dance well at all. So you shall be the body of poetry and I shall be its mouth.

[littlesoul]

Yes! [She smiles wide. Perfect.

Miss River Tam,
does all that she can,
to be poetry's body.
Miss Alice Liddell
who is quite good at riddles,
gives poetry its voice.
Together they can act as one
but most importantly have some fun
by.... by....

[Oh and she was on such a roll.]

Well, I shall try to think of an ending for later. It's not very good but I did try my best for something on the spot.

Thank you! [She curtsied.] Much obliged! I will try and make it a much nicer poem with time.

It will be wonderful. [She grins.] And I'll dance to your words, come up with something pretty to go along with it.

Maybe we can make it a song instead.

Yes! [She giggles.] We could both sing it and I would dance and it would be perfect.

Oh... I'm not the best at singing.

[littlesoul]

Do you like singing? It doesn't matter if you're good at it if you like doing it.

I do! I sing little silly songs to myself all the time. What about you?

Sing sometimes. Not loud enough for most people to hear but I do.

I'd love to hear you someday, Miss River. Perhaps we can sing together and not care what anyone thinks.

Yes! [She claps her hands together.] We'll do it together. Make each other braver.
