[Alice is beaming proudly as she looks at the bracelet. The more observant will notice a slight scratch on her cheek and nose. Nonetheless, she looks very pleased with herself.]

It took me all day but I did it! I did it I did it! [She's bouncing.]

I made myself a pet! Oh but not any sort of pet! No no, I made Marigold!

Would you all like to meet him? I thought it would be a much nicer topic than the gloomy sorts people have been commenting on. [Because dead people? No, thank you. She has had enough of all of that.]

Oh! We just had it! Making a living creature takes a good deal of energy, especially one like Marigold. So after I made him, we went down to the kitchen and I placed several bowls in front of him. After all, I had just created him, he was sure to have a very empty stomach and be hungry himself. He doesn't mind cream, and water is fine for him as well, but as soon as I had my own cup of tea he was much more interested in that than anything else!

So now I have a permanent attendant for all my tea parties!

Oh. So you made him here? He wasn't something you made at home that came here?

[Still trying to wrap her head around that whole concept.]

That's right! I have the drawing life power and I just reached the highest level so I could make anything... and I did!

Oh. [Wow.] And, your dragon is going to remain? Ah mean, not disappear or anything?

[madcuriosity]

Yes that's right! He's just like any animal now, like a cat or dog or bird. [She cuddles her dragon close who seems very content on receiving it.]

So you could make more then? If you wanted.

If I wanted, most certainly! But Marigold is more than enough, I don't need another.

[A smile.] Ah'd believe that.

[madcuriosity]

I practiced before I made Marigold, making birds and the sorts. There are quite a few of them in the park now. [She giggled.]

Ah can't see that being a bad thing, seeing as birds live in parks anyway.

[madcuriosity]

Yes, and more birds is always a good thing! People can always be cheered up by their pretty songs.

[justonetouch]

[Or get pooped on, but she'll keep that thought to herself.]

And they're just like real birds in every way?

Mmhmm! Sparrows, bluebirds, hummingbirds, and many more!

That is a pretty impressive power then.

Thank you! I want to make the very best of my powers. I've never had any sort of powers before coming here, I would imagine such things though.

Imagine having a dragon for a pet?

Oh yes! Among other things! Like meeting faeries or having a tea party with a unicorn. Although... I've had plum cake with a unicorn so I suppose that is nearly the same!

You mean here you had plum cake with a unicorn?

And a lion, yes! I had to give the lion the biggest portion because he had to have the lion's share!

[A laugh.] Did the lion even eat cake?

Of course, he loved it. Lions are surprisingly fond of plum cake it seems!

Ah would never have guessed that, actually.

I didn't know either! But I do know it now! [She giggles.] He was actually a very nice lion, much more polite than the unicorn.

Must be one of a kind.

[Otherwise, one would think the lion would eat the unicorn.]
