[Today, Hibiki seems to be spending some time in the Grimoire's Sigil, for those who can recognize the background behind her. In her hands is a green plate with an array that some may remember from the past painted on it.]

Umm... Hi, everyone! I started getting a little hungry while I was studying runes, so... I thought I'd make some snack plates for everybody to use while they're here.

This one is for melon bread. If you just activate the rune like this, [She holds the plate horizontally again and presses her hand against it,] melon bread will appear!

[And so it does! One warm loaf sits on the plate, waiting.]

There's a red plate that makes cinnamon bread, too. As long as everyone's careful and keeps the plate clean, we should be able to use it for a while without having to reapply the paint. Just, umm... try not to eat off of these plates, okay? That way they can stay clean for everyone to use!

Magic doesn't need to go away for a world to advance. That's how mine is, anyway.

So you mean, if technology keeps getting better, it'll be on the same level as magic?

Maybe not the same. Technology can't make something exist that wasn't there in the first place.

...Oh! I suppose it would be difficult for technology to do that, huh?

[...But with how advanced technology was here, she would have totally believed it if someone claimed otherwise.]

Probably. Though there are films where that does happen.

There are? I don't think I've ever seen one like that before...

[Since her experiences consist pretty much only of bad zombie flicks and "Nightlight".]

Yeah, I haven't seen all of them, but I know enough that people just make things ... appear.

That must be exciting to watch! All the other ones I've seen were just sort of... umm...

Uh-huh… We don’t have films or movies or anything in my world. I thought they were magic when I first came here.

No, they're just technology. Who told you to watch horror films?

Ah… that was my friend, Norman-san. He liked z—zombie movies?

[That’s how you refer to them right?]

He had a whole bunch, so one time we watched one.

It might help you see stuff randomly appearing. But I'm really not the best for it, either ...
